Dear World, You may be wondering what happens next in terms of the British constitution. The answer is that 3 newspaper owners - all of whom are non domiciled in the UK for tax purposes - get together and choose our next Prime Minister or β€œPoodle”. The Queen then anoints them.

The more I think about it, the more I feel we should start again with Parliament. Have a modern building, electronic voting, office hours, decent childcare, no on-site bars. Governing this country is too important for it to be treated like a 'gentlemen's' club.

Don't think you want to open this can-of-worms given the gender balance between primary and secondary teachers. Difficult to see how any belief that primary teachers are less worthy of decent pay isn't rooted in misogynistic beliefs about the value of 'caring' work.

Full responsibility = resignation. If I encouraged my staff to drink together in lockdown, I would be in front of the teacher misconduct panel and sacked! I will not move on.

If the govt cared for school children they would impose the strictest mask-wearing mandates (both in school & out) for the next few months to reduce the infection level prior to students having to sit together for hours in exam halls, risking illness. They don’t, so they won’t.

I don’t have pre existing conditions so I am not worried about going out in a storm, why should I change my behaviour? No need to monitor the storm either, let’s close down the Met office, full of scientists trying to control our behaviour with made up weather! #JohnsonOutDay25

13 out of 30 in my sons Yr6 on Monday. He tested positive on Tuesday. 2 kids in the school hospitalised. Sister in law is a primary heamistress. Tested positive on Friday. She was the only member of staff left who had not tested positive since Xmas. All entirely predictable.

Well it took all of 4 days back in the classroom for me to test positive. So that's a class of chn without a teacher and 2 other children now remote learning. So much for not disrupting anyone's education.
