Envelopes of dust and gas surround developing stars in these newly released Hubble images.
These views show protostars within a stellar breeding ground called the Orion Molecular Cloud, about 1,300 light-years away.
Ever wonder what happens in the aftermath of a supernova?
In this video, you’re watching the glowing remnants of a stellar explosion disperse over a period of 25 years, making this @chandraxray’s longest-spanning video ever released. go.nasa.gov/3NdVizV

ALT A pair of colliding spiral galaxies. Here, both spirals are shown face on, with the smaller of the two galaxies, IC 2163, at the upper left of the larger galaxy, NGC 2207, which dominates the center and lower right of the image. Both galaxies have long, spiraling, silver blue arms, dotted with specs of blue and red. Toward our upper left, the curving arms overlap, and bend toward their neighbors' core. Over the image, bold white copy reads, "Summer Internships Applications due Feb. 27 Apply today at intern.nasa.gov"
