We’re grateful to everyone who believes in creating a period-friendly world where every girl can learn with dignity and confidence. #AFRIpadsInclusive #AFRIpadsDignifiedFlows #AFRIpadsSustainableFlows – at Kampala, Uganda
Guys, the truth is girls are still missing school because they don’t have pads. I’ve been there. In high school I missed several days every month, not because I was sick, but because I couldn’t trust the small cloth pads I made myself to hold till the end of the day. The fear of staining was bigger than the lesson. When I look back, I just thank God I made it through. And I thank every organisation putting sanitary towels in girls’ hands so they don’t have to choose between dignity and class. I want to join this work soon. No girl should lose school days because of her period.
