Emily Norton of @AFNnetwork asks @DanielZeichner how he plans to rebuild trust with the countryside. He says he's never run away from meeting the sector, and the only way is to have an open and sensible dialogue. Progress towards a 25-year plan is coming in the next few months.

Today we've been meeting w/ the Uni of Manchester’s Soil Dept & Mersey BioBank to start our @AFNnetwork funded research project to monitor carbon capture & nature recovery. @GasLabUom will be doing lots of cutting edge #science & Mersey BioBank lots of #citizenscience.
