Yes, that's the Mona Lisa on a giant screen in Nairobi. 👀
One day you're discovering masterpieces from the world's greatest museums through Micro-Folie services.
The next, you're borrowing a book, listening to an audiobook on Culturethèque, or connecting with someone across languages through our translation services.
At Alliance Française de Nairobi, we help ideas, stories and cultures travel beyond borders.
Every image in this campaign tells a real story.
Artists stepping onto our stage. A sound design workshop bringing new skills. A mural taking shape on our walls. Creative industry competitions opening new opportunities for emerging talent.
All these moments happened here.
Here at Alliance Française de Nairobi, artists, creators, innovators and dreamers meet, experiment, collaborate and bring new ideas to life. Some arrive with a project. Others leave with one. What could you create here?

Fun fact:
Did you know that the first permanent photo was taken by Nicéphore Niépce in 1826-1827 in Burgundy, France? That pioneering image used a bitumen-coated pewter plate and required an eight-hour exposure in bright sunshine to capture a simple courtyard scene. #kevoabbra
📝 Gen Z speaks Katiba. What's next?
How do we move from hashtags to action, and from constitutional promises to everyday realities? 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♀️

What happens after French classes? 😀
For Winnie Kimotho, French started as a high school subject. Years later, it became a gateway to international opportunities, a career in leading French organisations, and collaborations across Africa.

In the first episode of ""My Journey Beyond AF"", Winnie shares how French helped shape her career, broaden her horizons, and continues to be a valuable asset in her professional life. #FrenchOpensDoors
Aujourd'hui, c'est même sa fille qui poursuit l'aventure du français à l'Alliance Française. Une belle histoire de transmission et d'opportunités.
