Great to join with my sisters and brothers in the @AFGENational Employees Town Hall!
President Trump has unlawfully abolished AFGE’s collective bargaining rights and wrongfully terminated EPA employees for speaking out against Trump’s harmful environmental policy changes (aka “doing their jobs”).
Democrats on the @OversightDems and our Litigation Task Force stand with AFGE in this fight!

A collective bargaining agreement is a contract. The EPA can't just tear this up and ignore workers.
As @AFGENational fights back in court, I'm standing with federal workers and their right to collectively bargain.

TSA announced they are removing chairs from the TSA checkpoint podiums where Transportation Security Officers screen passengers. Simply put, this is ridiculous.
Take a Stand with TSA Officers by sending a letter urging TSA to allow officers to sit.

We will never forget. Today we honor the bravery, unity and service of so many 25 years ago who jumped into action when terror struck. We will never forget those we've lost and the commitment and sacrifice of those who helped us rebuild after one of our darkest hours.
We started the day strong with remarks from the AFGE President Dr. Everett Kelley. He promised that federal employees in @AFGENational stand should to shoulder with postal workers in our fight to serve our communities. Our fights are one and the same!

In 1932, civil servants were up against wage cuts, furloughs & nonexistent benefits. 94 years ago on August 18th, these conditions inspired them to form @AFGENational. Despite the challenges, both old & new, AFGE has never stopped fighting for federal workers. Happy Founding Day!

Delegates were on their feet with a standing ovation for @AFGEPrezKelley, President of @AFGENational. Federal employees always have each other’s backs. 💪
Thanks for standing with us, Congresswoman!
When we fight, we win!
As the Ranking Member of the VA Oversight and Investigation Subcommittee, I've stood with and fought for VA workers to demand that their collective bargaining rights are respected and protected. I am pleased that a judge has AGAIN ordered the restoration of AFGE bargaining agreements—a major win for our veterans and the workers who serve them.
The power of the people remains strong! Let’s continue to fight to protect our rights!
The VA tried to rip up workers’ union contracts 3 times. All 3 times, @AFGENational fought back and won.
This is another victory for America’s heroes. When VA workers have a contract and stronger voice, they can make sure veterans get the care they deserve.

Another win for VA workers. Friday’s ruling from Judge DuBose makes clear that Secretary Collins must comply with the law & honor VA's Union Contract agreements with AFGE/NVAC. VA MUST restore union contracts for ALL VA employees & ALL protections that strengthen the workforce veterans depend on.

It is shameful that the VA is hellbent on taking union rights away from the hardworking men and women who provide care to America’s veterans, a third of whom are veterans themselves.
