New poll shows 1 in 5 college students believe America deserved 9/11
AFA Action CEO: ‘Teaching American students to agree with terrorism against America is not education; it is dangerous indoctrination’
TUPELO, Miss. — According to Buckley Institute’s 2026 National Undergraduate Student Survey, a shocking 22% of American college students say the U.S. deserved the 9/11 terrorist attacks. In addition, the institute reported that 45% of undergraduates believe physical violence is justifiable to stop hate speech. “Interestingly, 72% of those who agree that physical violence can be justified to stop hate speech also agree that hate speech is protected by the First Amendment,” the poll found.
In 1980, the Supreme Court pulled the Ten Commandments from classroom walls in Stone v. Graham. Now the Court may get the chance to overturn it. Our CEO @WalkerWildmon explains why that's only the first step toward restoring America's relationship with God. 🔗 spectator.org/justice-gorsuc…
Daniel Desmond Domenico was nominated by President Trump for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit on May 12, 2026. Domenico received a ranking of “no position” from AFA Action’s Center for Judicial Renewal. A PDF research summary on Mr. Domenico may be found at afaaction.net/cjr/judges/hon….
Thank you Senator Sandy Salmon (District 29) for working to protect Iowa kids from corporate predators.
Corporate database vendors are inserting ads and other harmful content into library and school resource databases.
These are billion-dollar companies profiting at the expense of Iowa kids.
Senator Salmon sponsored SF 2177 to clean up these databases and protect taxpayer funds from being wasted.
DEMOCRAT CAMPAIGNS AND OPENLY SOCIALIST CANDIDATES - SAME FUNDRAISING PLATFORM
ActBlue processes donations for both.
Democratic Socialists of America are openly raising money on ActBlue for socialist candidates.
The fundraising URL spells it out: “socialist cash takes out capitalist trash.”
Their words. Their page. Their chosen platform.
Democrat candidates who call themselves moderate should answer a straightforward question: Will you reject the socialist agenda being funded through the same platform you use?
Voters deserve a clear answer.
Thank you Senator Kevin Alons (District 7) for helping drive the effort to protect kids online.
HF 864, which Alons managed on the Senate floor, is now law in Iowa. Iowa joins 25 other states in requiring age verification for adult websites.
Accidental exposure has been listed as a major reason kids are getting addicted to pornography. 60 percent of exposure is unsolicited, even occurring on school devices.
Thanks to leaders like Kevin Alons, kids in Iowa are being protected.
THIS WASN’T A PRIVATE NIGHT OUT. IT WAS A CAMPAIGN FUNDRAISER.
The proceeds from “Charity Drag Bingo” were used to benefit Missouri candidates Katelyn Zach and Jeremy Dean, who are seeking the power to represent Missourians and write state laws.
Candidates choose where they raise money.
They choose the causes they elevate.
They choose the political and cultural alliances they celebrate.
Those choices tell voters something. It tells them what kinds of policies these candidates will champion.
Katelyn Zach and Jeremy Dean aren’t merely asking Missouri District 133 (Zach) and District 132 (Dean) for their vote. They are openly revealing the values, priorities, and political coalition they will carry into office.
Voters should ask a simple question:
Does this agenda reflect your family, your convictions, and your community? Is this good for your kids?
Campaign events reveal campaign priorities.

Here is our latest research on Todd Butler. His involvement in the 2024 and 2026 City of Brandon cases deserves particular attention. @AFAAction is continuing its research before taking an official position on his nomination.
Todd Butler was recently nominated by President Trump to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit on October 1, 2026.
AFA Action’s Center for Judicial Renewal is currently researching Butler and has found several concerns: (1) As an attorney, Butler lost 9-0 at SCOTUS while opposing a Christian evangelist. (2) Butler’s judicial philosophy is questionable, as he previously wrote in 2008 that the Supreme Court best serves the American people when Justices have diverse judicial philosophies.

As an adoptive mom, Katy Faust has seen adoption redeem loss. But surrogacy inflicts loss commercially, creating motherless babies. We've made it possible to create a motherless existence, splitting a woman into three roles. #PrayVoteStand #Surrogacy #Motherhood #Adoption

It appears this nomination was hastily carried out. Our initial research has uncovered two concerns regarding Todd Butler's record: (1) As an attorney, Butler lost 9-0 at SCOTUS while opposing a Christian evangelist. (2) Butler’s judicial philosophy is questionable, as he previously wrote in 2008 that the Supreme Court best serves the American people when Justices have diverse judicial philosophies.
More to come...

Todd Butler is an excellent pick for the federal bench. He believes in interpreting the law as it is written, pursuant to the text and original meaning of the Constitution—exactly the quality that should characterize a jurist. Mr. Butler is a credit to his home state of Mississippi. @SenHydeSmith and I look forward to his swift confirmation.
Dr. Jameson Taylor with AFA Action was pleased to join with several groups from around the country in asking the U.S. Senate to require federal agencies to publish non-binding guidance. "Guidance" amounts to unofficial directives that agencies use to get their way. It avoids transparency and accountability by going around the proper rulemaking process. Guidance might come in the form of a blog post, a letter, or even, a phone call. The GOOD Act, which has passed the U.S. House (H.R. 1515), requires agencies to make guidance documents available through a searchable portal. Senate Majority Leader John Thune needs to bring the bill to a vote on the floor of the Senate, as it has already unanimously passed committee.

“States should not have to wait on Washington to protect the integrity of their elections. State leaders across the country are stepping up, advancing voter ID and proof-of-citizenship requirements using every tool available to safeguard the ballot.
If Washington refuses to act, states must lead.
The American people deserve elections they can trust.”

Supreme Court nominations matter.
"We treat it less serious than a House race... Supreme Court, you'll wait over a generation to fix that."
