Brotherhood means standing beside one another, not above one another.
Being your brother’s keeper means ensuring every member feels safe, respected and included, regardless of when he joined. Hazing doesn’t build those bonds. Friendship, trust, and shared experiences do.
A no-hazing policy must be more than words on paper. Put it into practice: welcome new members as equals, build friendships across class years and speak up when something isn’t right. No one should have to endure humiliation or harm to find a place in our brotherhood.
During National Hazing Prevention Week commit yourself to Be Your Brother’s Keeper. Build brotherhood, not barriers.

This week is National Hazing Prevention Week. Being your Brother’s Keeper means protecting your brothers, not putting them at risk.
Hazing isn’t harmless. It can cause lasting trauma and even take lives. AEPi brotherhood should be built on respect, trust, and care. Look out for one another. Speak up when something isn’t right. #BeTheLeader who makes our brotherhood stronger and safer.

Wishing all our AEPi brothers, families, and supporters an easy and meaningful fast this Yom Kippur. May this day of reflection and renewal inspire us to lead with compassion, strengthen our brotherhood, and work together to repair the world.
G’mar Chatimah Tovah! May you be sealed in the Book of Life for a year of health, peace, and purpose.
As Shabbat begins and Yom Kippur draws near, we welcome a moment to slow down, reflect and reconnect...with our faith, our families, our communities and one another.
May this Shabbat bring peace to all of our brothers, families, and friends, and may the days ahead inspire us to seek forgiveness, offer forgiveness and enter the new year committed to being better men and better community leaders.
Shabbat Shalom from Alpha Epsilon Pi.
Brotherhood is a work of art!
Brother Jon White (RIT, 1983) is putting lifelong AEPi connections on display with the ninth “Fraternity of Artists”exhibition! Showcasing a recent graduate’s talents and honoring the memory of a brother’s daughter, the exhibit celebrates creativity, opportunity, and the bonds that connect the AEPi family across generations.
The exhibit opens Friday, October 2, at the Windsor Gallery in Rochester, New York. Read this week’s #FridayPiDay to discover Jon’s story and the brotherhood behind the art! bit.ly/4iuGE54

Beta is back! AEPi has returned to Cornell University!
We’re proud to celebrate the return of our Beta Chapter, continuing a cherished tradition of Jewish brotherhood, pride, and service. This is about honoring the brothers who came before us while empowering a new generation to carry that legacy forward.
At Cornell and across our brotherhood, our mission remains clear: developing the future leaders of the Jewish community. We’re excited to see our Beta brothers build lifelong friendships, strengthen Jewish life on campus, and make a difference in their community.
Welcome home, Beta!
A taste of tradition. A table full of brothers. A sweet new year.
AEPi and Esponda Associates have teamed up with our partners at Gill Grilling to introduce Taste of Traditions, a Jewish food calendar bringing meaningful holiday meals to participating chapter houses. Last night’s Rosh Hashanah themed dinners were a great way to kick off the holiday!
It’s more than what’s on the menu. It’s about celebrating our traditions, strengthening our brotherhood and inspiring the next generation of Jewish community leaders.
To all of our brothers, families and friends: Shana Tova!
May the new year bring health, happiness, peace and sweetness -- and many opportunities to gather around the table together.
L’Shana Tova to our brothers, families and friends!Wishing you a sweet new year filled with health, happiness, and peace. We enter this new year on a day where we also look back on the unspeakable horrors of 25 years ago and we continue to ask ourselves why this happened and how. And, we continue to ask ourselves how we move forward, in the face of evil.
In his latest Rob’s Report, AEPi CEO Rob Derdiger reminds us that tikkun olam -- repairing the world -- is more than an ideal. It is a responsibility we fulfill through our time, our choices, and our service to others. Building our communities strengthens all of us.
As we welcome 5787, read Rob’s message and join AEPi in committing to do more than wishing for a better world. Let’s help build it.

Twenty-five years later, we remember.
AEPi honors the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families forever changed, and the courage of those who rushed toward danger to help others.
Five years ago, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of that awful day, we shared the reflections of four New York University brothers. Their memories of that day and its aftermath reveal the fear they carried, the comfort they found in one another, and their determination to help their community. Today, we share their story again, because the responsibility to remember does not diminish with time.
We hold close the memories of our brothers Frank Morton, Brett Freiman, Steven Goldstein, Joshua Rosenblum, Richard Ross and Andrew Zucker, whose lives were taken that day.
The Torah teaches that the memory of the righteous is a blessing. May the memories of all who lost their lives continue to be a blessing for their families and friends, and may we honor them through compassion, service and care for one another.

Happy birthday to our Supreme Master (International President), Brother Adam Cohen (Georgia, 2006)!
Adam, thank you for leading with heart, giving back to our brotherhood and inspiring the next generation of Jewish community leaders. Your dedication reminds us that AEPi isn’t just for our college years, it’s for a lifetime.
Wishing you a year filled with health, happiness and wonderful moments with family, friends and brothers. L’chaim, Brother!
An Israeli construction worker fell more than 30 feet. The emergency vehicle that helped bring lifesaving care to his side? Made possible by AEPi brothers.
Recently, @UnitedHatzalah responders raced to a serious workplace accident, where they helped stabilize a 35-year-old man. They responded in the AEPi-funded Minilance Plus pictured here; a vehicle on the road today because our undergraduate brothers stepped up to make a difference.
In 2024, AEPi brothers across North America raised funds for United Hatzalah, whose volunteers provide fast, free emergency medical care across Israel. But the impact of their generosity cannot be measured in dollars alone. It is measured in the help those dollars make possible when someone’s world changes in an instant.
As we approach the Days of Awe, we reflect on our responsibilities to one another and also on what it means to turn our Jewish values into action. Tikkun Olam is more than an ideal. It is a call to act, to give and to help repair a world that needs us.
AEPi’s mission is to develop the next generation of Jewish community leaders. Our brothers remind us that this leadership does not have to wait until graduation. It is already reaching far beyond our campuses, strengthening our communities and helping save lives in Israel.
This is brotherhood with purpose. This is AEPi.
To our brothers, families and friends celebrating in the United States, Happy Labor Day! Today, AEPi honors the hard work, dedication and service of those who help build stronger communities including AEPi’s staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to improve our fraternity and our Jewish communities. We wish everyone a safe, relaxing and meaningful holiday!
Our brothers are back on campus and are building brotherhood, serving their communities, and proudly living AEPi’s mission. Wishing all of our brothers, families and friends a peaceful Shabbat and, to those in the United States, a safe and enjoyable Labor Day weekend.

This week’s Friday PiDay features Brother Drew Lewis (James Madison, 2015), founder of Cheers, Drew, an online menswear business that combines premium clothing, personal shopping and the kind of genuine, relationship-driven service that no algorithm can replace.
From leading his chapter’s philanthropy efforts to launching a company of his own, Drew’s story shows how the responsibility, leadership and lifelong relationships developed through AEPi continue to shape our bJMUrothers long after graduation.
Read this week’s Friday PiDay and learn how Drew turned a childhood passion into his dream business and why gratitude remains at the heart of everything he does (Also, check out the special AEPi discount code that Drew has provided for AEPi brothers, families and friends at the end of the article): bit.ly/4dk2ftn

Hazing must never be excused, but not every practice is hazing. Universities must distinguish harmful behavior from healthy traditions that build commitment, belonging & community.
Protect students. Define hazing clearly.

From @survivorcbs to storyteller, Brother @stephenfishbach (Yale, 2001) has built a career filled with unexpected twists. But it was during a miserable night in the Cambodian jungle that he finally confronted his biggest challenge: “How do I not have the courage to write a book?”
That moment ultimately led to Escape!, his bestselling debut novel inspired by his firsthand experiences in reality television. Through it all, Stephen has carried with him the friendships, confidence and enduring sense of connection he found in AEPi — a Brotherhood he says still feels “like coming home.”
Read this week’s #FridayPiDay to discover how Brother Fishbach stopped playing to survive and began writing to be heard — then pick up a copy of Escape! to support an AEPi Brother: bit.ly/4qK3wzA
