Were you lucky enough to see the northern lights a week ago? One of our former families thoughtfully sent us these pics they snapped from our parking lot! 💚💜💙
I'm so grateful for the amazing network of nature-based early childhood educators in Minnesota. The supportive, collaborative approach of this group has created opportunities for hundreds of children in MN to participate in Nature-based learning.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we must report that PLHS Special Education Teacher Brad Bulver passed away last night after a brave battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, or ALS. Brad was a teacher at the high school for almost 26 years. /1
Loved having the opportunity to connect with these educators and share about the Nature Preschool approach. It was also inspirational to hear about their early childhood programs in Singapore. Looking forward to our continued collaboration! #NaturePreK

We ❤️ outdoor learning at Oak Ridge! Color matching, scavenger hunts, nature observation, and playing together are just a few of the ways we learn outside, like these first graders in Ms. Martinez's class and kindergartners in Ms. Rojas Duarte's class. 🍁🌳🎨

Did you know Oak Ridge has a School Forest? Second graders had their first Forest Friday of the year today. They're excited to learn and explore in our School Forest all year long! 🌳🌲
Proud to be a part of this school and the amazing work that is happening to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences outdoors! #TeachOutdoorsMinnesota
Oak Ridge is one of five schools in the state awarded funds for outdoor learning opportunities for K-2 learners. Keep an eye out for Oak Ridge students and staff in this MDE video about nature-based learning opportunities for children in Minnesota! buff.ly/3Lf0NdQ
5 sites, 3 weeks, and 170 miles of traveling to support the teams. Summer PreK was officially a success! So proud of the amazing teachers and their inquiry-based instruction this Summer! These students are ready and excited to learn in Kindergarten!
A perfect finale to a day of planning the launch of my Education Minnesota IMPACT grant. Excited to partner with Joe and Wolf Ridge to support outdoor learning at Oak Ridge Elementary and Cedar Park Elementary.
After noticing one of the Monarch caterpillars was missing from the milkweed patch, I did some searching nearby and found it just in time to see the transformation into a Chrysalis. Nature is amazing. #CabinLife
