The last piece of my thesis work is finally out! Interested in learning about the roles of cDC1s during obesity-associated inflammation? Check out our story here:
RESEARCH | Andrew Hildreth et al. (@dgsomucla):
The authors show that during DIO, conventional type 1 dendritic cells (cDC1s) in WAT take up DNA-containing apoptotic bodies from adipocytes, which contributes to WAT #inflammation in mice.

Super excited to share the first of my thesis work papers! cDC1 are protective during drug-induced acute liver injury! Big thanks to everyone who helped make it happen! #CellReports cell.com/cell-reports/fullte…
Got the chance to share our work on human adipose ILC subsets at #ilc4 and #Cytokines2022 conference on the big island, Hawaii. Big shout out to @OSullivanLab for making this possible!

Replying to @ADHildreth
@ADHildreth from @OSullivanLab presenting his super cool data looking at NK cell-dependent cDC1 recruitment in obesity!! Super cool, calm and collected, hope I can channel that vibe in the next session! #NK2022

Trying to stay off twitter but this session is just far too good 😵💫 @ADHildreth from @OSullivanLab about adipose tissue ILC/NK subsets and one of my favorite topics: NK/DC interactions. Shoutout to two of my fav papers by @CrozatKarine (2021) and @JBoettcherLab (2018) #nk2022

Come join us at Notre Dame! We have two open positions (tenure track, any rank) and are especially enthusiastic to see applications from those specializing in molecular biology, synthetic biology, or biochemistry. Apply at apply.interfolio.com/93452
Super excited to share our recent work detailing the changes that occur within the human adipose tissue using single-cell RNAseq! Huge thanks to all of our collaborators at UCLA, esp. @OSullivanLab for making this happen!
