A gang of settler terrorists violently attacked "Washington Post" journalist Heidi Levine, 64, this morning, and also robbed her belongings. It is important to clarify right now: the problem is neither Israeli "hasbara" (public diplomacy) nor global antisemitism.

A woman comes online to educate the internet about Chrisean Rock’s son Jr.’s condition, Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, explaining that it’s a genetic disorder caused by missing genetic material on chromosome 4 and that Chrisean’s drinking didn’t cause it, despite people claiming it was fetal alcohol syndrome ❤️‍🩹

POV: A six-year-old girl told people that her father’s girlfriend was mean to her, but before she could be protected, her life was taken by the very woman she feared. Bella Fontenelle, 6, lived in Harahan, Louisiana, and was cared for by her father’s girlfriend, Bunnak “Hannah” Landon. Bella’s teachers noticed changes in her behaviour, including anxiety and frequent crying. She had also expressed concerns about Landon during counselling. On April 25, 2023, Landon k!lled Bella while caring for her at her father’s home. Surveillance footage later showed Landon transporting a bucket containing Bella’s bod¥ in a wagon to the front lawn of Bella’s biological mother’s home. Bella’s body was discovered the following morning. Investigators recovered Landon’s buried cellphone, which contained evidence presented at trial. Messages also showed Landon telling Bella’s father that the children were in bed. Landon pleaded not guilty and argued that she was not criminally responsible because of her mental state. On May 1, 2025, a jury convicted her of first-degree murder and two counts of obstruction of justice. On May 6, 2025, Landon was sentenced to life in prison without parole, plus 80 years for the obstruction convictions. Bella was only six years old. Her death devastated her family, who must now live with the loss of a little girl whose life ended far too soon.

Howard Hughes died in 1976 worth about $2.5 billion, with no valid will. 3 weeks later, a handwritten will turned up leaving $156 million to a gas station attendant in Utah. His name was Melvin Dummar. Real footage of him from 1978 below. The will was found at the Mormon church headquarters in Salt Lake City. His story: in December 1967, he found a disheveled old man on a desert highway north of Las Vegas. He drove him to the Sands Hotel. Only at the end did the man say he was Howard Hughes. “I found an old man out in the desert between Tonopah and Beatty, Nevada,” Dummar told reporters. Investigators found Dummar’s fingerprint on the will’s envelope. At first he said he knew nothing. Later he admitted he had delivered it to the church. The case for Dummar. A retired FBI agent wrote in 2005 that Hughes’s staff remembered him arriving at the Sands in December 1967, saying a man had picked him up in the desert. In June 1978, a Las Vegas jury ruled the will a forgery. Dummar got $0. He was never charged. The $2.5 billion went to 22 cousins. Hughes left $2.5 billion and no will. Dummar got a will and $0. Do you believe Melvin Dummar picked up Howard Hughes in the desert?

Abraham Shakespeare won a $30 million lottery jackpot in 2006. Three years later, the money was gone, and so was he. He had worked washing dishes and on garbage trucks in Lakeland, Florida. After the win, he paid off mortgages for family, friends, and some complete strangers. “I really would like my old life back,” he said. Among the new friends was Dee Dee Moore, who offered to manage his money. In a home video, she asks whether he’s tired of people asking him for money. “They don’t take no for an answer,” he replies. He was last seen in April 2009 but wasn’t reported missing until November. In January 2010, police found his body under a concrete slab in Moore’s backyard. Prosecutors say she tried to convince his mother he was still alive, arranging a phone call with someone posing as him. Her ex-husband testified he dug a hole with a backhoe at her request. Then came the forged letter to his mother, supposedly written by Shakespeare. He was illiterate. Informant Greg Smith secretly recorded Moore. He testified she told him to burn the body and gave him a list of supplies, including kerosene. On tape, she also discussed a plan for another man to take the blame for about $50,000. Moore maintains she is innocent. She faced a mandatory life sentence. He escaped poverty for three years, surrounded by people who all wanted a piece of him. The one who offered to protect his money was the one burying him in her yard. Was it the lottery that killed him, or the trust he placed in the wrong person?

Two prison guards one of which a Corporal snap on an inmate all on camera learn their fate in court for their actions. Inside the Cuyahoga County Jail in Cleveland, Ohio, inmate Terrance Debose, who suffered from documented mental health challenges, was placed into an emergency restraint chair and fitted with a spit mask following a verbal dispute with staff over basic accommodations. Debose later stated all he was asking for was a bed to sleep on. With his arms, legs, torso, and head fully immobilized by heavy straps, Debose was completely incapable of shielding himself or moving away. Corporal Nicholas Evans, the supervisor on duty, engaged in a heated argument with Debose as insults were exchanged. As his anger escalated, Evans did something that shattered protocol and destroyed his career: he reached up with his hand and intentionally powered off his department-issued body-worn camera, immediately killing both the audio and video feed. What Evans failed to account for was the facility’s ceiling-mounted security camera operating directly overhead. The fixed ceiling footage captured what happened the moment the bodycam went black: Evans unleashed a barrage str!kes directly to Debose. Subordinate officer Timothy Dugan then stepped in, throwing two additional into the immobilized inmate. Debose was left strapped in the chair for nearly two hours post attack. The incident occurred while the Cuyahoga County Jail was already under intense federal and state scrutiny following a damning U.S. Marshals Service report that exposed severe overcrowding, corruption, and systemic civil rights violations across the facility. In his subsequent incident reports, Evans claimed he "blacked out" from rage after being insulted. However, state prosecutors shredded that excuse in court, demonstrating that the physical act of reaching up to deliberately shut off his recording equipment proved conscious premeditation and calculation before delivering the str!kes. Ohio prosecutors indicted Evans not only for the attack, but also slapped him with a third-degree felony charge of Tampering with Evidence for intentionally disabling official recording equipment to conceal a crime. Both guards subsequently resigned and accepted plea agreements: Former Corporal Nicholas Evans pleaded guilty to attempted felonious assault and tampering with evidence. Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge John O’Donnell sentenced Evans to 9 months in state prison at the Lorain Correctional Institution, plus 3 years of post-release supervision, citing the deliberate bodycam shutoff as a flagrant attempt to undermine the administration of justice. Former Officer Timothy Dugan pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and abduction, receiving a sentence of 10 days in county jail alongside community control probation. Following the sentencing, Debose and his legal counsel called the 9-month sentence a mere "slap on the wrist" for brutalizing a restrained man unable to raise a hand to protect himself, subsequently launching a federal civil rights lawsuit against Cuyahoga County. Is justice served on this one, or another example of the two tier justice system in action?
Does this mean it could be the oil of other people too? 🤢 The metallic smell on your hands after handling spare change isn't metal; it is your own body oil breaking down. Copper, zinc, and nickel coins are completely odorless solids that cannot vaporize into the air to trigger your olfactory receptors. When you hold loose change, natural skin sweat containing lipid peroxides reacts instantly with divalent metal ions on the coin's surface. That rapid chemical reaction degrades the fatty acids on your skin, producing volatile organic compounds like 1-octen-3-one. What you are actually smelling is oxidized human skin chemistry catalyzed by contact with metal.
