Great summary of current sentiment by Camillo
Been obsessed with the stock market since I was a teenager. Have traded through the dotcom bubble, the financial crisis and just about every market mania since. But I’ve never seen anything like the skepticism surrounding AI. Not even close. Every time one bubble narrative falls apart a new one takes its place. Rumors become headlines. Misleading data goes viral. Claims that could be debunked with 5 minutes of research get repeated by major media outlets, influential investors and Wall Street analysts. It’s relentless and honestly pretty fascinating to watch. Of course there will be spectacular failures and massive wealth destruction along the way. That’s what happens during technological revolutions. But I’ve never witnessed this much effort to convince the world that something so transformative is actually one giant speculative bubble destined to take the entire economy down with it. I understand why AI scares people. What I find harder to understand is why so many investors seem to be rooting for it to fail.
Coacoa futures still over $5,500/t even after a pullback this year but combined with an ever weakening Yen, quality chocolate is getting pretty expensive isn’t it ?
SpaceX $SPCX price target raised to $275 from $230 at Evercore ISI
Evercore ISI analyst Kutgun Maral raised the firm's price target on SpaceX to $275 from $230 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares as part of a Q3 earnings preview.
The company's "transformative catalysts" are "closer than they appear," the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm expects SpaceX's Q3 print to be judged less on the quarter than on the debates that should drive medium-term estimates and sentiment through year-end and into 2027.
While investor skeptics "point to a complex story built on long-dated initiatives that can feel more science fiction than financial model," the "proof points are closer than many appreciate," contends Evercore.
The firm says Starship reached orbit and deployed its first V3 satellites on Flight 14, while reuse could be proven within the next few flights.
It sees "transformative catalysts" in 2027 for SpaceX.
Adding shares this week in $SPCX leading into Q3 earnings report which I expect to raise some eyebrows.
Japan is a small compact country and I am always surprised how few people you see out in the countryside. I saw 1 person in 45 min here on a holiday weekend and it’s only 80km from Nagoya.
A big player is certainly buying $SPCX in size today. The tape is non-stop bid.
This is a must watch event tonight, a stunning 124m tall rocket, with lift off weight of approx 5,000 ton’s launching into orbit. Simply astounding.
Should be on around 21:45 JST if no further delays.
Starship’s 14th flight is set to launch on Monday, Sept 28. The 75-minute launch window opens at 7:15 a.m. CT. Live coverage of the mission starts ~35 minutes before launch → xitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1qxvvenMP…
