Whenever a proposal is put forward for the $ADA treasury, there’s always a mix of opposition and support. But do you remember back in 2021, when #ADA was the third-largest cryptocurrency? And now? It has slipped all the way down to 20th place. At this point, is there any real difference between #ADA and a "shitcoin"? When the market rallies, #ADA is never part of it; when the market falls, #ADA is always among the hardest hit. Don’t try to tell me this is just a "normal correction"—is a drop from $3.10 to $0.19 really just a "correction"? If so, should we expect the next "correction" to take it down to $0.019? I honestly have no idea what those fools at @Cardano are actually doing all day, or what they’re even arguing about. I am truly, deeply disappointed in the people behind $ADA . Aside from the buzzword "decentralization," what other advantages does #ADA even have left to offer? If things continue like this, how is #ADA any different from a shitcoin?
Don’t you find it absolutely embarrassing to see a drop like this? We used to criticize ETH for not being truly decentralized, mocked SOL for its poor technology, dismissed XRP as valueless, labeled TRX as a "trash coin," and called DOGE nothing more than a meme coin—but stop and think for a second: what does ADA actually have going for it? Its ecosystem is pathetic, stablecoin liquidity is abysmal, its TVL is dismal, and there’s not even a hint of an ETF. Right now, any random, worthless project can apply for—and receive—funding from the treasury. And then what? What’s the actual outcome? Take those funds that were granted to build a cross-chain bridge—what ever came of that? I honestly have no idea what this bunch of losers behind Cardano are even doing.
I used to take great pride in promoting the bright future of ADA, encouraging my friends to buy in. I was proud to be an ADA holder—whenever I met up with people, I’d go on and on about all its advantages. But now? When I’m out with others, I feel embarrassed to even mention that I hold ADA, let alone talk about its supposed strengths. Honestly, I can’t even figure out what those advantages are anymore. "Leios," you say? Other coins don’t even need something like that—their TPS (transactions per second) is already ten or a hundred times higher than ADA’s. What about liquidity? Other chains have much deeper stablecoin pools; even XRP has billions of dollars in stablecoins—and what does ADA have? Should I talk about an ETF? Does ADA even have one? So, what am I supposed to say to people? That ADA is decentralized? That the EUTXO model is "great"? If it’s so great, why is no one using it? Every time I open Twitter, my feed is flooded with ADA-related content—at this point, I’m tempted to just block everything related to it.

@Hardfork_OT created ultimate tool for analyzing how #Catalyst funds were spent in Japan.
This is incredible tool for assessing how Catalyst contributed to Cardano ecosystem, or not.
All DReps should have a look before new Catalyst proposes their budget👇

Catalyst Japan

Cardano node diversity just got a new contender.
I have a lot of respect for the work teams at @blinklabs_io and @Amaru_Cardano.
But they are not the only ones building.
After a month of nonstop development — often 17 hours a day — an independent, unfunded project has quietly taken shape.
Meet TSUNAGI.
An independent Cardano node architecture written entirely in Zig.
No grants.
No institutional funding.
Just engineering.
The site is now live:
tsunagi.tech
If this kind of independent infrastructure matters to you, support through the TSUNA stake pool or $tsunagi helps sustain the work.
Let It Run. Let It Resolve.

I focused on how factors such as participation rates in governance actions, Records, the ratio of YES/NO voters and delegated stake, and the decision-making behavior of dReps holding 1% or more of delegation (and thus meaningful influence) affect Cardano’s overall governance outcomes.
My motivation was not to judge the merits of individual governance actions, but to analyze the governance structure itself and explore whether dRep tendencies could be reasonably identified or predicted from it.
Although the sample size is limited, this began as a spontaneous initiative, so I used the most recent nine governance actions as an initial dataset. I relied on @Nomos_guild as my data source, as it provides clear visualizations and structured analyses of individual governance actions.
I analyzed and quantified factors such as the number of dReps, participation-rate trends, consistently participating dReps, the number of Record submissions, and the classification of continuous participants (for example, community-based or corporate-affiliated). I expected this approach to reveal certain patterns.
Some data points were counted manually. While individual dRep delegation amounts and overall voting ratios are typically shown in terms of stake weight, I could not easily find clear information on the number of voters across several reference sites.
Cardano is generally considered decentralized at the chain or stake-pool level, for example when evaluated using the Nakamoto coefficient. However, I wanted to examine decentralization from another perspective: dRep decentralization.
By applying metrics such as Fit20, the Gini coefficient, and the Nakamoto index to dRep decentralization, my core question is straightforward: while Cardano as a chain may be well decentralized, how decentralized are the dReps who actually make governance decisions? Through this analysis, I hope to explore whether there are structural ways to further improve decentralization. Discussions around dRep rewards also exist, and deeper analysis of governance structures and tendencies could provide broader perspectives and better inputs for decision-making.
