Imām Sahlagī states that the Persian Sufi master Bāyazīd Basṭāmī (d. 874–875), known as Sulṭān al-ʿārifīn (Sultan of the Gnostics), had studied under 360 masters, the last of whom was Imām Jaʿfar al-Ṣādiq.
May Allah grant our parents into Jannah and not let their efforts go to waste by also making us pious and not shame them in any way.
