Times change…people change..and yet I remain. It is my gift…it is my curse. I’m not sure if I can carry on any more…but I must…right?
France. So many differences, and yet so many similarities. Blood spilt in two world wars. I fought them both. I know so much pain. I saw suffering and unspeakable horror on both sides.
In war, the only victor is death. -
I listen as the last post is played and then, the flag lowered and the party retire. I walk amongst the graves of the fallen, with a companion.
He was German. A captain in the Wehrmacht. His name was Karl. He had a sweetheart and didn’t want to die. Then he met me. -
We look at each other over the graves and then salute.
In war, there are enemies. In death, there are only survivors.
We bow our heads to the fallen and then, Karl is gone. Every year we remember them.

Night is for many the most popular time of day. Abductors, sex offenders, serial killers and vampires. Oh! Perhaps this isn’t the best place to start.
It’s been several days since I last fed and the hunger has all but consumed my thoughts now. _
My love and house mate @AbbyWitchEvans and my lethal lover, @Kaitlyn_Harker have not been seen. One I know is house clearing and as I have not been asked, I can only presume she needs some time alone. Kat on the other hand worries me. -
This #WCW goes to my charming houseguest @AbbyWitchEvans who is one of the kindest and gentle people I have ever known. She also has an incredibly kissable neck, but oh what I would like to do with it and the rest of her.
I offer this #WCW to @Kaitlyn_Harker who I believe would make a brave and magnificent warrior princess by my side. However, it appears we need to talk a couple of people round before hand.
Nighttime, has its own beauty if you’re prepared to open your eyes to it. It tends to be quieter, less hectic and has an almost smoothing quality. I wandered around the park and noticed the peculiar absence of any threats. Clearly, @Kaitlyn_Harker was on top of things. -
Our kind are warriors. We don’t do the mundane. And yet, would it be such a crime to experience normality.

I offer this #WCW to the simply stunning @AbbyWitchEvans who only has to smile and Carfax lights up. I’m amazed she wanted to stay with me, but I’ll never regret meeting her that fateful stormy night.
