Wheat Tours: like a field trip, but for farmers and ag folks who want an educational excuse to hang with their friends and look at wheat varieties. Snacks likely, sunscreen recommended. 👉go.unl.edu/wheat-tours
Super glad to get to work with Vini, and proud of him for earning this honor

Last call for our 2025 winter wheat and winter annual forage trials! We’d love to see how your best genetics perform in the Good Life. Let @NE_DrylandCrops or I know if you need an entry form or have questions
2024 wheat variety reports from the @UNLVarietyTest team are up on the @UNL_CropWatch website! @NE_DrylandCrops and I are super lucky to have a rockstar team who worked hard to get the harvest completed!

Kylie was one of Marian’s nurses at @ChildrensColo and is riding the 2024 Courage Classic in her honor.
The NICU is a scary place, but the nurses are an incredible force for babies and their families: fiercely protective of their patients, befriending older siblings, providing strength to parents.
Survived wheat field days followed by a birthday celebration for Viv and a round of appointments for Marian. I’ll be back in the office next week, I promise!
Many thanks to @ChrisCullan1 @TenbenselTroy for hosting our tours yesterday and today! And providing us with awesome fields to test wheat varieties!
For those joining this evening at V&F Farms Wheat Tour east of Chappell, be aware that Hwy 30 is closed. Can take the exit off I80 at Hwy 27 and north to jog around!
It’s a cool, gorgeous morning for a @UNLVarietyTest Wheat Tour in Banner County at Jim Wyatt’s farm
They let me out of the office to plant millet today! Year 2 of a cooperative testing with @sallyjd7
