Last summer, I had the honor of hosting 7 political leaders from North Macedonia through the @StateDept & @ACYPL. Nearly a year later, I took the reverse trek across the ocean to see their country and political system firsthand. Grateful for the experience and friendships. 🇺🇸🤝🏻🇲🇰

So unbelievably grateful to @ACYPL & the @niassembly for a genuinely wonderful week in Northern Ireland.
The agenda was packed with a cross-section of business, religious, law enforcement, political, & cultural leaders that gave us an immersive lens into NI & her people.
Just wrapped up an outbound exchange to Northern Ireland, with 6 emerging American leaders meeting with members of @niassembly from multiple parties, observing Question Time, touring Giant’s Causeway, & discussing issues from public safety to economic development!

I'll be forever grateful for the opportunity @ACYPL afforded me to travel to Ghana & South Africa in 2014, and to host exchanges from Japan, China, & Israel. Not to mention the fact that we're an ACYPL family now with Laurie traveling on an exchange to North Macedonia in 2024.
