Cracking day @Groundswellaguk for my first visit. Delighted to be able to catch up with so many different people across the farming world and have a lot of tenanted sector conversations. Thanks especially to @NFUtweets for hosting a round table chat too. Pic before it got hot!

@HiltonHotels overbooking rooms is a whole level of greed that’s unacceptable. I’ve been waiting 30 mins to know if the hotel I’ve booked and paid for is available at midnight. This is entirely unacceptable from a “premium” brand.
Reception now turning into a deserted gathering room. With keys not working and a growing frustration of guests and hopeful guests. Staff disappeared 15 mins ago. Tick tock ⌛️ @HiltonHonors
Feeling sorry for the tech guys at @rugbyontnt ? This is a massive issue during the last 5 mins of a playoff final game !
Great to be at @oxfordfarming conference again to start 2026. “Being Human in a Changing World” session making us reflect on our characters and how fixed we are in mindset and how change decisions impact us. Super to start the year reflecting and connecting.
Great to have @FarmstrongScot kicking off the day at AgriScot. Reminding us all about the importance of taking care of ourselves and each other. Great to hear from Catriona and Jack about what they do for wellbeing. Strong @SAYFC theme coming through from both.

'That is a goal worthy of taking a country to a World Cup'

Having been involved in the initial idea germinating it’s great to see @FarmstrongScot going from strength to strength and having such a positive impact on the people in the sector - take a look and spread the word.
What is Farmstrong?
💬 “We as farmers and crofters are the most important asset on any farm or croft. We need to invest in ourselves like we invest in our livestock and crops.” John Scott, Farmstrong Scotland

@SkySports what’s happening with the Lions coverage ? Both on tv and SkyGo cutting g out for more than 70% of the game.
The Only reason we kept SkySports was for the Lions coverage as the remainder of the rugby offering has eroded so much. This isn’t much of an offering and is so disappointing
Premier Sports obviously haven’t been supporting Scottish sport for long - tempting fate with that tag ! Hope they keep the momentum going with them.
