Not only is the 9/11 OW Stair Climb a way to honor the 343 firefighters who gave the ultimate sacrifice that day, but the 35 trips up and down the Olathe West main stairs is a great bonding and team building experience for our Fire Students. – at Olathe, KS

I love skating in my gym. It is 2 weeks of skating all day, sore feet, smiling, crying, bumps and bruises. That's just from me. I love seeing the kids joy when they "get it".

We’ve got some exciting news! Thanks to a grant from the @NEAarts and @KansasCreative, we’ll soon have a new mural gracing the walls of the Olathe Community Center!
We’ve commissioned Olathe artist Ken Dela to bring this mural to life.

Kansas teachers deserve to feel safe at work when they return this fall. I vow to continue consulting with public health experts to make fact-based decisions that protect our students and educators from COVID-19. Politics have no place in a pandemic. kansas.com/news/local/educat…

As students prepare for the end of class each day, we leave behind an “Appreciation”, “Apology”, or an “A-ha!” (Thanks @edutopia for the idea). Notice what this student is thankful for 👇🏼☺️ – at Overland Park, KS
