As the guy who created @ACCSports in 1990s & ran it/owned it for decades, I personally can certify that @bgeis_bird was/is:
1-one of the best contributors that mag/website has ever had,
2-one of the best interns (long ago) I've ever had, &
3-an amazing person/friend.
Go BG!👊🍻👏
Quick announcement: My time at @ACCSports is done. It was a positive experience. I believe the space was used to create unique, in-depth ACC basketball coverage. Unfortunately, this current path is no longer financially sustainable. It stings - I love writing about this stuff.

Wake Forest coach Dave Clawson calls for “a commissioner of college football.”
Says conference commissioners are doing what’s best for their conference, and presidents are doing what’s best for their schools — but few are thinking about the sport as a whole.
