Adoption of the Migration pact is a historical and long-awaited achievement in EU's journey towards effective migration management! 🇱🇹 initiatives are reflected in the Pact. Now, MS facing migration instrumentalization will be equipped with the necessary tools to address it.
Despite the progress on gender balance, women across the EU are still under-represented in law enforcement top management. Today‘s conference „Women in Law Enforcement“ is a call for action. I thank my colleagues for a shared commitment to do more for women’s empowerment.

As Finland took a decision to close their border with russia due to instrumentalized migratory pressure, Lithuania expresses its support and determination to act in solidarity in case of a spill-over effect in the region. 🇱🇹 🇫🇮
