🇨🇳🇵🇰 Chinese & Pakistani employees at the Mohmand Hydropower Project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province marked China’s 77th National Day with a flag-raising ceremony on October 1, 2026. The event brought together colleagues from both countries working on the project’s main dam & tunnels.
Built on the Swat River, the 800MW Mohmand Dam is expected to generate approximately 2.86 billion units of electricity annually. The multipurpose project will also support water storage, flood control, irrigation & drinking water supply to #Peshawar, highlighting the importance of Pakistan-China cooperation in infrastructure & energy development.
