My dad Charles Ridgeway passed away yesterday, and I'm still trying to process it. He was born, and raised in the mountains of West Virginia, and a Vietnam War veteran, he was 67. He taught me alot of stuff, but he knew more than I'd ever know. He is my hero, and I love him.

I really want to thank @vigilanttrails for sending me this survival fishing kit, I can't wait to try it out! #outdoors #camping #hiking #survival #survivalist #fishing

Making a quick fishing spear. Cut down a sturdy branch, baton your knife through the end of the branch 2 to 3 inches down. Now place small sticks into the cuts you've made to separate the tips. Now sharpen each tip. #bushcraft #camping #survival #survivalist #fishing #outdoors
