This was the reason for the win today. Hellebuyck and Allen are going to be a crazy good tandem. #NJDevils

Nico Hischier on the significance of a player of Hellebuyck's magnitude deciding to waive his No Trade Clause to join #NJDevils:
“It shows a great goalie wants to be in here and sees the potential of this team. For me, it’s no news, I see the potential of this team."

How about some love for Brenden Dillon . He sat for 5 straight handled it like a complete pro. Comes in the lineup today and played what I thought was an absolutely flawless game . Tip of the cap to the big Fella #NJDevils
From Kurt: Devils Take the Matinee Against L.A., 3-1
The Devils defense was spectacular, holding Los Angeles to only 13 shots on goal. allaboutthejersey.com/devils…
Nice #NJDevils win. It wasn't their best game, and they still held the Kings to 13 shots. What else can you say about this group? Keefe's club is clicking.

A warrior returns. Brenden Dillon back in the lineup for the #NJDevils tonight.
Whoa whoa. I was fine with Dillon coming in for Johnny Kovacevic, who made a terrible giveaway Thursday that could have turned the game on its head. But coming in for Declan Chisholm?????
#NJDevils lineup changes today against the LA Kings:
Dillon and Lombardi are going in and Chisholm is coming out.
HC Keefe said Lombardi was going in today regardless of the Mercer trade.
Rémi Poirier backs up Jake Allen.

I asked #NJDevils Connor Hellebuyck how much he currently knows about life in New Jersey.
“One of my best friends, the second he saw the trade sent me a list of the top 10 bass fishing lakes in the area.”

#NJDevils GM Sunny Mehta says its wait and see when it comes to a timeline for Connor Hellebuyck’s return to play.
Hellebuyck was so excited he was ready to get in his car and drive to Newark from Michigan.
Mehta said “don’t do that”. 🤣
