The following candidates have submitted applications to be considered for the vacant Senate seat in District 30 by the December 24, 2024 deadline that was provided to the public:

The AACDCC has been notified that MD State Senator Sarah Elfreth will resign effective Jan 2, 2025. To minimize the impact of this vacancy on the residents of District 30, we will provide a recommended nomination to Gov. Moore in a process outlined here: bit.ly/D30Appointment
