In 2021, Cam Booser signed with @TheChicagoDogs after 3 years (nearly 4) out of the game as a 29-year-old who had never been above High-A.
His journey to being a pivotal bullpen piece on the AL’s best team truly began in the @AA_Baseball

Winnipeg gets a taste of Banana Ball next August after Lincoln, Sioux Falls, and Fargo all hosted last year.
Kansas City and Milwaukee both have hosted previously, so that makes 6 @AA_Baseball parks to host Banana Ball
🧵This was NOT a good year at the gate for the minor league baseball, though the MLB Partner Leagues were hit the hardest.
The AA had the smallest drop of the four this year, though it was still down 7.5%

As for the Frontier League, only 4 of 18 teams went up. Outside of Ottawa's record-breaking season, it was a pretty bleak year, with SEVEN teams falling by over 10 percent and a lot of boat anchors piling up.
The league was down 9.2% as a whole

Crunched the numbers and here's approximately how much travel every @AA_Baseball team has lined up for next season.
Did my best to factor in commuters and likely off-day stopovers, but yeah, here's the gist of it.
Noted this in the just-posted article, but having September 7-25 shaded for the playoffs is interesting.
With 10 teams, three rounds of playoffs just doesn't make much sense anymore, but it looks like we're keeping it. Though this is the only clue so far suggesting that

One thing not surprising: Kansas City moves to the East.
One thing that IS surprising: if my math is right, the AA is moving from 100 to 102 games.
May 7 will also be the earliest Opening Day in @AA_Baseball history

Introducing the Ozarks Springbirds.
The ballclub formerly known as the Springfield Cardinals based in Springfield, MO has a new name, logos and uniforms and will continue to serve as the proud Double-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. The new name and logos were created with three things in mind: Our City, Our Region and Our Birds, creating a new identity for Southwest Missouri to rally around.
The Springbirds will debut on Friday, April 2, 2027 at Route 66 Stadium.

I do find it very funny that Kane County (which will have to drastically overhaul their roster) gets to go to Ottawa and Quebec for their first (real) National Association road trip and nothing but playoff teams in May.

Not that this is shocking after drawing 500 fans a night, but holy crap we managed to have all four leagues change membership (at least unofficially) on the same day
Breaking:
A source is telling me that the @YSFreebirds are NOT returning to @PBL1939 play in 2027. This would explain the @MobilesBaseball post telling people to stay tuned for next year. There is also a facebook post on the Freebirds account that confirms this information.
With the Atlantic League all the sudden at an odd number, I have come up with simultaneously the stupidest and funniest solution:
