Through inspiring real-world success stories from @AAAcomms (Australia), @AASouthAfrica, @ADAC (Germany) and @EMSO_NEWS (UAE), the final Mobility session of the #FIAMacauConference2025 took a deep dive into how Artifical Intelligence and data can be leveraged to enhance advocacy efforts, improve operational efficiency, and develop innovative services that better meet the needs of their Club members.
The session also featured a keynote by Serge Stinckwich from the @UNUniversity in Macau, who presented his research on AI- and data-driven simulation models designed to inform and empower citizens.

I negotiated a commitment to release road safety data publicly for the first time.
This data should be part of any decision to spend $ on roads. People are sick of pork barrelling and dangerous roads not being fixed because they’re in safe electorates.

Real-World testing of vehicles helps consumers know the running costs and emissions of popular models.
It helps in making choices about cars that are cheaper to run.

Hundreds of cars will be rigged up like this and driven around Geelong in Victoria.
The test will give buyers the information they need to choose cars that use less petrol and are more environmentally friendly.
It’s another election promise delivered.

Proud to partner with @AAAcomms & #AusRAP partners calling for improved sharing of #RoadSafety data. The iRAP Safety Insights Explorer shows how safe Australia’s roads are, the human impact of injury & business case for safer roads. Check it out at irap.org/safety-insights-exp…
Serious injuries and deaths on roads are causing significant trauma across the country, but the Australian Government doesn’t publish statistics about the causes. 📈
If it did, we’d have important evidence we could use to make our roads safer. We’d know what safety laws are working (and which aren’t). And we’d be able to compare where road money gets spent, with where it’s most needed.
It’s time to measure what really matters.

Tragically, 144 people have lost their lives on our roads this year.
On the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, we pause to remember the lives cut short by road trauma, and remind all motorists to slow down and arrive safely.
