“The reason Tinubu has not started packing his belongings from the Villa is that a few selfish politicians from the North are determined to contest during the South’s agreed tenure instead of allowing the opposition to unite behind a Southern candidate. If everyone had respected the understanding that the South should complete its tenure, Tinubu would already be preparing to leave Aso Rock and waiting for the opportunity to congratulate H.E Peter Obi on his victory.”

I once got an acquittal for a guy who grabbed his wife by the hair, slapped her, and then fired a revolver next to her head… and then threw her out of the trailer and fired another round in the air outside of the trailer…
because he was trying to watch the Super Bowl and she wouldn’t stop nagging him.
I tried the case because there was no plea deal even offered. Two felonies, both with mandatory 10 years and no parole. Nothing to lose…
After the wife testified at trial, being particularly nasty to me on cross examination, the jury apparently sympathized with my client, who had been married to her for decades, and just like that… set him free. Even the judge couldn’t believe it.
That trailer is still sitting there - now abandoned - on the side of US 219 and you can still see the bullet hole in the wall.

It is late. A customer says they never received an important message.
You know your application made the request, but that doesn’t tell you what happened afterwards.
Was it delivered? Did it bounce? Was it opened?
Sendly API keeps message history and delivery events so developers can investigate instead of guessing.
When you’re responsible for a product, knowing what happened is just as important as making it happen.

We (𝗙𝗚𝗡) write to put on record that the report (by @CNN) didn’t just fall short of journalistic standards, it reinforces the 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 that is going around on the issue (Lekki incident), it is blatantly irresponsible and a poor piece of journalistic work.

BREAKING: Nigeria: A Christian mother, Liatu Samuel Dawa, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for the “crime” of evangelism.
Liatu shared her faith with a woman in Borno State who later converted to Christianity.
For that, Liatu is now behind bars and her family in hiding after Muslims threatened their lives.
The judge, A.B. Kumdila, imposed the harsh sentence.
This ruling is a gross miscarriage of justice.
The disgraceful action must be overturned and Liatu immediately returned safely to her family.
Free Liatu Dawa.

EKEDC IN DESPERATION
_____
I installed an 18kW solar power system at my property in Lekki Phase 1, relegating EKEDC supply to a backup status. Since then, I have been having more frequent visits from personnel of Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC), coming to check my prepaid meter.
On one of those visits, the EKEDC team stood watching the meter for motion to indicate consumption. When the meter wasn't moving, they called me to say they suspected I had bypassed the meter. I told them I had enough solar power for my daytime needs and only used their supply as a backup for the dark hours. To prove this to them, I switched on my inverter bypass for about 2 minutes so my consumption would be from EKEDC. They saw the meter rotating normally. They were visibly upset and one of them mumbled something like "This ọ̀gá no wan gree us chop". They left.
Today (19-Oct-2026), three of them came to my premises with a notice of disconnection. The last time I loaded an EKEDC token was in July 2026 and I still had ample units left. When I asked why they would disconnect me, they said the reason was "LOR" (Loss of Revenue). They said my slow consumption indicates a faulty meter and I had to pay them ₦112,606 for loss of revenue.
I told them my meter was not faulty and that they could test it if they wanted. The lady said they were losing revenue and they had to make up for it.
I didn't know whether to laugh or to be angry. I have no intention of paying EKEDC a dime for its loss of revenue due to my taking steps to protect my interest.
But, I share this story for all who are investing in solar power to know that the DisCos are now desperate. They now have "Loss of Revenue" as a reason for your disconnection from their supply. It is simply that they are not making enough money from you.
I am waiting for EKEDC to disconnect me from their grid before I lodge a formal complaint to the regulatory authority.
We are in interesting times in Nigeria!

The 9 victims abducted from Babban Saura, Chikun LGA, Kaduna State, have spent 18 agonising days in the hands of bandits. Their families are still waiting, praying, and pleading for their safe return.
Jamila, the pregnant woman who was kidnapped alongside Ahmad Zakka and his family, is still in captivity. She should be preparing to welcome her baby in peace, not enduring the terror and uncertainty of captivity.
What about the other victims? Their lives matter too. Their families deserve answers, urgent action, and the assurance that everything possible is being done to bring their loved ones home alive.
Where are the authorities? Where is the urgency? This is an emergency that demands immediate action. The Kaduna State Government, security agencies, and all relevant authorities must act now to secure the safe release of all the victims. Every hour matters. Every life matters.
These families cannot be left to suffer in silence💔
