Had a wonderful summer working with @justin_salamon and @urinieto as an intern in the Audio AI Lab @AdobeResearch in San Francisco! If any fellow PhDs would like to know more about my experience and how to apply, drop me a message!
I recently released an EP that I recorded during the pandemic and it will air today 5pm U.K. time on EastBlenders @threadsradio hosted by the amazing @Lia_Mice. Tune in 🎶 or checkout the EP on Spotify open.spotify.com/artist/1gVQ…
Super happy that my work “SketchSynth: a browser-based sketching interface for sound control” was voted best demo at #NIME2023 ✍️💻🎶 read the paper here sebastianlobbers.com/static/…

Today I will perform The Sabotaging Piano at @nime2023 - a piece by my PhD colleague Teo Dannemann who built a system that forces improvisers to move away from their usual playing patterns. Come along! 🎹💻
My takeaways from #chi2023:
- it‘s large
- loads of interesting and prestigious people, but everyone just cooks with water 😉
- @medialab knows how to party
Really happy to have experienced it with my colleagues from @QMUL_MAT and @CDT_AI_Music

We started this event series to give PHDs and Master students the opportunity to present work that is unfinished and/or does not fit into an academic outlet. But it also turned out to be a great way to find out about the research interests of our colleagues!
Tomorrow we will be presenting our @SeeingMus1c work at #FestivalOfCommunities in the People’s Palace @QMUL @EngageQM . Come check it out!
Just made my neural network visualisation project available to the Figma community. Maybe this is helpful to some! @figma: figma.com/community/file/111…

Recently some of the bike stands in front of the Peter Landing building at Queen Mary Uni were replaced with code-secured bike boxes. Now people lock their bikes to fences and banisters while the boxes are always empty. Doesn’t seem ideal… any ideas how to use the boxes @QMUL?
My cat picture has a new companion. Thank you @EngageQM for the beautiful award! 🏆🐈
