Next up on our Creative Exchange Programme we have Southend Museum’s partnering with locally based artist, Steve Lawes delivering the Anglo-Saxon Runic Alphabet (known as the Futharc) as an entry point to teach young people about early British and local History! @SouthendMuseums
Last Saturday we had the pleasure of being at the Connected Arts Festival handing out resources for 99 by 19. Were you one of the 180 people we spoke to at the weekend? If not and you want for information, contact 99by19@Southend.gov.uk.
Over the past few weeks, Southend LCEP partnered with creative organisations to deliver a Creative Exchange Programme. Here we have working five of Southend Targeted Youth Groups delivering their interactive participatory performance, The Mitten. @
A FREE arts festival jam packed with events for all the family. It's taking place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th November at Victoria Shopping Centre, Southend-on-Sea, 10am-4pm. 99 by 19 will be there so come say hello and try something new!

Yesterday, we were at @SouthEssexColl Southend Campus, for their Freshers’ Fair!
Lots of resources were given out and we successfully spread the word about 99 by 19 to students and teachers alike!

13. Conquer a fear
Perhaps you are scared of heights? You could conquer this fear by riding on the big wheel at Adventure Island. Or you could stand at the top level of the seafront lift and look at the views of Southend? If you do make sure to send us your pictures! #99by19 🍦🎡
