Great team work by all the members of @NNTrainingOps this week in delivering the IPLDP D20/21 Inital OST course & a special thanks to the Area OST Trainers who assisted us
The logistics involved & the safety measures in place made it an interesting week
#TopTeam
@norpoltraining
Congratulations to IPLDP D20/21 for passing your Inital OST week. Due to the large size of the cohort, the logistics involved in delivery and the covid safety procedures in place it was a busy week but you all gave it 100%. Enjoy the rest of your career.
A fantastic course, thanks to all the trainers involved. I'm honoured to be given this opportunity to be part of history. This valuable skill set will provide additional options and contingencies in the future.
@NNTrainingOps
Great end to training for 2020 with two of our team qualifying as @NorthantsPolice First Public Order Baton Gun Operators 👍🏻 Well done @985Harris and @1112Liddle with PO lead #C0974Goodenough overseeing training by our fabulous firearms trainers 👏🏼 @NorthantsChief @CInspThompson
Congratulations to PCDA 1.20 for passing your Initial OST course, it's been an interesting week especially with the Covid safety procedures in place but you gave it 100%.

😡 Angry is an understatement that one of our own is injured in this way. A tragic incident and our thoughts are with our colleagues.
Officer safety is paramount and that is why we work hard in both First Aid and PST to ensure our colleagues are sufficiently trained.

Another spontaneous deployment today, once again being Bronze POPSA for @ChInspNorpol. This time we were joined by @NorpolFootball - keen to develop the skills he obtained on his POPSA course. Thanks to all the officers involved who helped get the positive result

Congratulations Cohort FDA 1.20 for passing your Inital PST week. It's been a hard week but you've earned it. Enjoy the rest of your training and good luck with your career. You'll soon know why for so many of us this is the best job in the world.

We have received a number of reports today from people reporting that they have received calls from police officers asking them to hand over money as part of an ongoing investigation.
Police officers will NEVER ever ask you for money.

Over the B/H weekend I had the privilege of being the POPSA for @InspNorpol working alongside numerous colleagues inc @SuptMurray @SuptAdamWard @PS255Desrocher and @Northants_RCT. Long days staffed by a hardworking team that I was proud to be part of #proudtoserve #teamnorthants
Protecting people is what we do. Life experience and empathy are really important parts of this job but sometimes it's the little things - a friendly smile, some positive reassurance or a random act of kindness - that makes a difference to those in their time of need.

Congratulations to Charlie cohort for passing their Initial OST week. Pleased say all 31 passed and are on to the next phase of their training @NorthantsChief @norpoltraining @NNTrainingOps
Second weekend in my POPSA role at Silverstone alongside PC 1158. This time @SuptMurray was in charge. Fantastic leadership which resulted in a safe, enjoyable and incident free event. Thank you to all involved - both public and police - see you all next year. @NNTrainingOps
Command scrum down @SilverstoneExp . 2 new tac advisors @985Harris @CorbyPolice now familiar with @SilverstoneUK events. Photos for their scrap books. I am feeling a bit short next to @985Harris though 👨👦
