Back-to-school season means busier roads. As traffic picks up, plan ahead, slow down, and stay focused behind the wheel. A few extra minutes can help make every morning commute safer for everyone. 🚸

See orange? Slow down. 🚧 Orange signs, cones, and barriers signal that conditions ahead may be changing. They are placed not only for the construction crew’s safety, but for yours as well. Stay focused, follow directions, and stay alert when traveling through a work zone.

Sidewalk Update Both sidewalks on the bridge will remain closed during the week of Sept. 7. As early as the week of Sept. 14, the east-side sidewalk will reopen to pedestrians, while the west-side sidewalk will remain closed for approximately one year as improvements continue.

In observance of Labor Day, no construction activities are scheduled from Friday, September 4 through Monday, September 7. Construction activities will resume as scheduled on Tuesday, September 8. We wish everyone a safe and relaxing Labor Day!

Recent work along the SR-91 corridor included excavation and installation of new storm drain infrastructure, helping prepare the project area for upcoming roadway improvements. Crews will continue advancing construction throughout the project corridor.
