🚨Neymar Jr. on Endrick’s situation at Real Madrid:
🗣️ Neymar Jr.: “I called Endrick recently and I asked him, ‘Bobby, are you okay?’
“He told me, ‘Ney, I’m struggling. I’ve been trying everything to impress José Mourinho, but nothing is working.’
“He said every game he’s on the bench. Mourinho brings players on, changes the attack, makes substitutions, but somehow Endrick is always the player watching.
“Then he asked me something that stayed in my head.
‘Ney, what am I doing wrong?’
“I told him, ‘Bobby, maybe you’re trying too hard to prove something that you don’t need to prove.’
“But I also told him the truth.
“At Real Madrid, nobody cares how talented you were before you arrived. Nobody cares how much people talked about you in Brazil. You have to show the coach every single day that leaving you out is a mistake.
“And if Mourinho doesn’t believe you’re ready, then make it impossible for him to ignore you.
“Score in training. Run harder. Fight for every ball. When you get ten minutes, play like you have ninety.
“Because sitting on the bench and asking why you’re not playing won’t change anything.
“I told him, ‘You have two choices. You can be angry about Mourinho’s decisions, or you can make Mourinho regret every decision he makes without you.’
“He went quiet.
“Then he said, ‘I just want a chance.’
“I told him, ‘Then stop waiting for the chance. Make yourself impossible to ignore.’
“Real Madrid is not a place where talent gets guaranteed minutes.
“It is a place where you fight for them.”

Jason Brown had what many athletes spend their entire lives chasing. In 2009, he signed a five-year, $37.5 million contract with the St. Louis Rams, becoming the highest-paid center in the NFL at the time.
But after just a few seasons, Brown made a decision that stunned the sports world.
At only 29 years old, while still young enough to continue earning millions on the field, he walked away from professional football and returned to his home state of North Carolina.
With no previous farming experience, Brown purchased a 1,000-acre property and founded First Fruits Farm.
He reportedly learned many of the basics of farming through research, videos, and hands-on work. Inspired by his Christian faith and the biblical principle of offering "first fruits," he and his family committed to giving away the first portion of every harvest to people in need.
What began as an unconventional career change has grown into a mission that has provided well over a million pounds of fresh produce to food banks, churches, and food pantries, helping feed countless families.
Jason Brown traded NFL stadiums for tractor fields, multimillion-dollar contracts for rows of sweet potatoes and vegetables, and personal wealth for a life centered on service.
His story remains a reminder that success isn't always measured by how much we keep, but sometimes by how much we're willing to give away.

Vin Baker says working at Starbucks after making $100,000,000 in the NBA became one of the best years of his life
“So many articles came out saying, ‘NBA player made $100 million, now working at Starbucks.’”
“To be perfectly honest, it was one of the best years of my life.”
“I was happy that I was sober.”
“I was waking up every morning not needing alcohol or drugs.”
“I was actually doing the job.”
“I’d close the store at 11:30 at night and be back at 4 in the morning to open it.”
“It disciplined me.”
“Going from an All-NBA player to being a Starbucks manager takes a level of humility.”

🗣️ Javier Hernández:
“I have never seen a team get favored and protected like Argentina in a World Cup, ever in my lifetime.
I couldn’t believe my eyes watching that first half. I think it was Enzo Fernández who elbowed Elliott in the back of the head, and the referee stood there and did absolutely nothing—not even a yellow card.
They were playing dirty, committing foul after foul, yet no yellow cards were given. This makes Messi’s World Cup questionable because, if we’re being honest, Argentina has been getting protected since the group stage, and the same thing happened in the 2022 World Cup.
No one should be proud of winning a World Cup this way.”

🗣️ Zlatan Ibrahimović:
“I’m going to be honest here. Even as someone who loves Messi, this World Cup has looked like a tournament prepared for Argentina to win. When I watch other matches and then watch Argentina’s games, it makes me wonder whether the rules are different for Argentina’s players. They don’t play like a team that came to play football; they play as if it’s a karate competition. Yet despite all of that, the referees don’t give them cards.
I have seen so many challenges that deserved yellow or red cards, but the referees refused to show them. For Argentina’s second goal, Messi stepped on Spence, and VAR didn’t review it. Yet against Egypt, VAR disallowed Egypt’s goal for the exact same reason. The same thing has happened in other matches they have played.
I don’t think it’s fair to say this World Cup has been fair because everything points to the fact that they want Argentina to win so badly. It’s very shameful that FIFA has not looked into all of this.”
BELLINGHAM SPEAKING ON THE CLASH BETWEEN HIM AND THE ARGENTINA PLAYER AFTER THE FINAL WHISTLE
“Valentín Barco came onto the pitch at the end with his teammates.”
“He saw me, walked over and said something in Spanish, forgetting I understand the language.”
“I went straight up to him and gave him a tap on the head. I wasn’t about to stand there and let a kid disrespect me to my face.”
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
No record of Bellingham making this statement. Reports from after the England-Argentina World Cup semifinal say Barco was celebrating with teammates when Bellingham hit him on the head. Neither player has commented publicly on the incident.
