On 17 October 2026, security forces conducted three intelligence based operations in Quetta, Nushki and Khuzdar Districts of Balochistan, on reported presence of terrorists belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al Hindustan, neutralising eight Indian sponsored terrorists. On 17 October 2026, terrorists attempt to establish road block in Panjpai area of district Quetta to disrupt local traffic was intercepted by security forces, resulting in killing of five Indian sponsored terrorists. Further more, during sanitisation operation in Nushki district. Security forces busted terrorists hideout and after an intense fire exchange, two Indian sponsored terrorists were sent to hell. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered. In another intelligence based operation in district Khuzdar terrorist hideout was engaged by security forces through prompt offensive action, whereby, killing one Indian sponsored terrorist. Large quantity of explosive (490 kilograms) was also recovered. Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area. Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.

During the conduct of operation, terrorist hideout was busted by Security forces through swift and decisive action, resultantly five Indian sponsored terrorist were neutralised. Cache of weapons, ammunition and explosive was also recovered. Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area. On mid-day, 12 October 2026, a Mushshak training aircraft of Pakistan Army Aviation crashed near Nawan Killi, Quetta due to a technical fault. Both pilots, Major Husnain Shehzad Humayun (Instructor Pilot) and Captain Abdul Samad (Student Pilot) embraced Shahadat in the unfortunate crash.

On 10 October 2026, movement of a group of khwarij, trying to approach international border from Afghanistan to Pakistan was detected along the international border in Kurram District and effectively engaged by security forces. While security forces, maintaining a high state of alertness and vigilance, effectively thwarted the infiltration attempt, Afghan Taliban Posts also opened fire to support the infiltration attempt by Khwarij. Skilful and precise engagement by vigilant troops resulted in killing of twelve Khwarij and Afghan Taliban. During intense fire exchange, Naib Subedar Hidayat Aman (age: 40 years, resident of District Ghizer), having fought gallantly, paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced shahadat. This incident along Pakistan-Afghanistan border once again vindicates Pakistan’s objective and factual stance regarding the wilful abject failure of the Afghan Taliban Regime to deny the use of Afghan soil to the terrorist organization, rather facilitate and patronise cross-border terrorism. The Afghan Taliban Regime has consistently failed to honour its international counter-terrorism obligations. The Security Forces of Pakistan remain resolute and unwavering in their commitment to defend the nation’s frontiers. Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored Kharji found in the area as relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country. These sacrifices of our brave soldiers further reinforce our unwavering commitment to safeguarding our nation and its frontiers at all costs.

And PTI gets a clean chit out of downright abysmal governance through political martyrdom, one more time. A repeat of 2022 where PTI was universally unpopular and had run Pakistan’s foreign policy into the ground. It’s 2026 and PTI in Pakhtunkhwa has ceded control of half the province to Taliban. President Donald Trump played a historic role in advancing peace in South Asia. His timely intervention helped bring Pakistan and India back from the brink and secure a ceasefire, that is holding till today. In recognition of his outstanding contribution, Pakistan had nominated President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.
