Loving this review of the Atmos mix we did of #Drive. For me the stand out comment is, "It's an immersive mix, for sure, but never artificially so". We help tell the story with sound. If you can hear the cogs whirring, we've failed. @AvidProTools @Dolby @NUGENAudio

Over the moon about this. I'd like to dedicate this nomination to the thousands of unsung heroes in this game. There are many small but vital cogs in this machine. Time for them to be recognised. Without them, this industry simply wouldn't function.

RIP Lionel Strutt. You were an absolute legend of the industry, and a huge support to those of us at the beginning of our careers, indeed throughout our careers. Plus you were also a legend on the dance floor. Sorely missed.

@AvidProTools @nonlethalapp @Dolby In the past 18 months we've mixed 80+ hrs of TV in 5.1, ADR/VO remote recorded 30 episodes of HETV, gained SAG CV19 accreditation twice and published a six part video tutorial on Dolby Atmos that has become an industry reference. Phew!
