Switching to iPhone Duo now, any questions? Feel free to ask below.
But yes, Apple's first foldable phone feels premium.
PLEASE UPDATE YOUR BROWSERS AND PHONE OS RIGHT NOW!
For those who don’t know how big this is, this is what it means:
Think of a digital certificate like a passport for a website. It tells your browser: “Yes, this website is really who it says it is.”
In eMudhra’s case, 8 keys used to issue those website “passports” were compromised. With those, anyone could create "passports" for ANY website, so a fake site could look completely trusted.
The good news:
👉 Chrome and Firefox blocked them on Oct 17, Apple on Oct 19, Microsoft on Oct 20
👉 eMudhra says these were never used to issue certificates to any website
👉 No attacks reported so far
👉 Your DSC for GST, ROC or Income Tax filings is NOT affected. eMudhra says its India DSC business runs on separate systems
Major browsers are already blocking the affected certificates. The bigger worry now is old software and devices that don't update on their own.
Have you updated yet? Please repost so that it reaches to more people.
Jio IPO ka anchor book: ₹8,110 crore ke liye ₹2.5 LAKH crore ki demand. 30x+ oversubscribed!
BlackRock, GIC, Norway ka sovereign wealth fund... sab line mein khade hain.
Public ke liye Wednesday ko khul raha hai.
Are you applying? Or just watching from the sidelines :)
A Singapore passport opens 193 doors visa-free. An Indian passport? 55.
Henley Passport Index, Oct 2026:
🇸🇬 #1 Singapore: 193
🇯🇵🇰🇷🇦🇪 #2 Japan, S. Korea, UAE: 188
🇮🇳 #84 India: 55
🇦🇫 #106 Afghanistan: 22
One of the world's largest economies, and our passport still trails 83 others. Passport power is soft power, and India needs visa deals that match its economic weight.
Where do you think India should rank? 👇

Kids These Days....I still remember what mobile internet felt like before Jio.
1GB data was something you actually thought twice before using. Then Jio happened, data became cheap, and suddenly people everywhere were watching YouTube, cricket, reels… everything on their phones.
Honestly, even Trakin Tech would not have grown this fast without that shift.
So no, a few failed apps don’t make Ambani a failure in tech. But there is a pattern I find interesting.
Jio does really well where it already owns the pipe or the content... Network. Cricket. JioHotstar.
It struggles more where users have to consciously choose the product every day… browser, chat, video calls.
There, habit and product experience matter more than just price. That’s why for JioPC or cloud gaming, I think the big question is:
Will people use it because it is genuinely good or because it comes bundled with something they already have?
Those who ask Ambani why he don't compete with big companies, he does and, and he has a graveyard of failures there because he can't just use money to win there.
In software, other companies are big companies with cash, they can also reduce their cost, but the small snacks sellers, chocolate factories can't afford discounts. And he ends up killing those companies.
i) He acquired Saavn to compete with Spotify, god knows who pay for it now.
ii) JioChat and JioMeet, another one to counter WhatsApp and Zoom, no one use because he can't just throw money to win, need to work on UI, UX, Supprt which is lil difficult.
iii) JioPages, his chrome alternative, no one uses.
iv) JioBook, his chromebook alternative, basically a cheap laptop for kids, failed.
And there's too many attempts and none of them succeeded.
And JioPC and his cloud gaming thing are next to fail.
Back in May I said this festive season's phone demand looked uncertain. Didn't expect it to get this bad though...
Global smartphone shipments are down 20%. Lowest Q3 since 2012.
2012 yaar. Galaxy S3 aur iPhone 5 wala time.
And it's not like people don't want new phones. RAM and storage have become crazy expensive, so phones are ~20% costlier this year. Budget buyer ke liye sabse tough hai.
Premium is still selling though. Apple crossed 20% Q3 share for the first time.
So basically... AI companies are buying up all the memory, and the guy who just wanted a ₹15K phone is paying for it :)
Honestly this was uncalled for…
Dear Prime Minister Ambani,
Please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of India.
Naturally, you would prefer to maintain your monopolistic exploitation of the great people of India, but would you nonetheless consider allowing Starlink to compete?
There are many areas of India, as there are in all countries, with no Internet access, which denies children the opportunity for education and for small businesses the opportunity to sell their goods to a global market. Starlink would change their lives for the better.
Thank you 🙏
While I agree that no company, including Starlink, should be stopped from doing business in India, I also think people are overestimating how disruptive it will be here.
India is an extremely price-conscious market. JioFiber starts around ₹399/month and Airtel broadband around ₹499/month. Starlink’s India pricing isn’t official yet, but satellite internet is unlikely to compete with terrestrial broadband purely on price.
Where Starlink can genuinely change things is rural India, remote areas, highways, mountains and places where laying fibre simply doesn’t make economic sense.
So yes, let Starlink come. More competition is always good. But I don’t see millions of Jio/Airtel users suddenly switching to Starlink just because Elon Musk launches it.
Its real opportunity in India is probably where Jio and Airtel don’t reach well, not where they already dominate.
And interestingly, Airtel itself has partnered with SpaceX around Starlink distribution, which makes this less of a simple “Starlink vs Indian telcos” story :)
From Mumbai’s perspective, I completely understand why people are unhappy about flights shifting to Navi Mumbai Airport.
But from Pune’s perspective… this could actually be a big win. Pune still doesn’t have the international airport it deserves. For many international routes, we anyway travel to Mumbai.
Now look at what’s changing:
Missing Link has already reduced Pune–Mumbai travel time.
Direct e-Shivai buses to NMIA start at ₹450.
And geographically, Navi Mumbai is on our side of Mumbai rather than having to cross the entire city to reach CSMIA. :P
So while NMIA may feel like an inconvenience for some Mumbai flyers, for Pune it could genuinely become the more practical international airport.
Funny part is… Pune’s second airport might actually be in Navi Mumbai.
Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) expands multimodal connectivity!
▪️MSRTC e-Shivai electric buses to begin from 7 Oct, connecting NMIA with Pune, Dadar & Borivali.
▪️Fares: ₹450 Pune | ₹210 Borivali | ₹170 Dadar East.
▪️21 daily Chalo Bus services connect NMIA with Mumbai, while NMMT operates 7 dedicated airport routes.
▪️Bharat Taxi, Uber Go/Premier, Uber Auto, prepaid taxis, autos & car rentals add more options.
▪️A complimentary hourly shuttle will connect NMIA with Mumbai’s CSMIA, operated by Cityflo, Aarya & Chalo.
▪️Ground transport capacity is being scaled up to 4,594 vehicles, including 3,787 app-based taxis and 547 buses.
▪️NMIA is connected to Panvel, Targhar & Bamandongri railway stations and key road corridors including Atal Setu.

Captain Smit Machchhar deserves huge respect for this.
On Flydubai FZ1073, he was allegedly stabbed by the co-pilot while the aircraft suddenly lost thousands of feet of altitude. Despite being injured, he helped get the cockpit opened so the crew and passengers could intervene, and the aircraft was eventually diverted safely to Saudi Arabia.
Just imagine how badly this could have ended with 170+ people onboard. In aviation, a few seconds can separate a scare from a catastrophe.
Whatever the investigation ultimately finds about the motive, the presence of mind shown by Captain Smit and everyone who stepped in deserves genuine praise.
Wishing him a speedy recovery.
My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery.
Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster.
He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals.
I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery.
He is a true hero.
I don’t think this is going to work the way we expect.
If social media is banned for under-18s, most teenagers will simply change their DOB, use a parent’s account, or find another workaround. But I’ll still say this, the intent behind the rule is good.
Kids definitely need stronger protection from what social media has become.
The real challenge is not making the rule. It’s finding a way to enforce it without turning the internet into an Aadhaar verification exercise.
Felt the energy of Pune today during Ganpati Visarjan 🙏

Am I missing something here? These phones are now available on major quick-commerce platforms. You can literally sit on your sofa and get one delivered in 10–15 minutes.
So why are people still lining up overnight and rushing to stores on Day 1?
Is it really about getting the phone first… or just getting that first-day photo/video outside the Apple Store?
#WATCH | Delhi: A throng of people starts gathering outside the Apple Store at Select Citywalk Mall in Saket early in the morning ahead of the highly anticipated sales launch of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
Jiska darr tha, wahi hua… UPI par charges officially aa gaye. Abhi ₹2,000 se upar merchant payments par fee lagegi, aur technically merchant ko pay karni hai. But honestly, mujhe nahi lagta yeh cost hamesha merchant hi absorb karega.
Aaj merchant pay karega. Kal convenience fee ke naam pe hum customers bhi pay karenge.
UPI free tha, isi liye India mein itna explode hua. I have a feeling ki agle 6 months mein hum active UPI usage mein thoda slowdown dekh sakte hain… especially higher-value payments mein.
Hope I’m wrong. What do you think?
National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI): A revised UPI Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) framework will take effect on select merchant (P2M) transactions starting October 15, 2026, while keeping UPI completely free of cost for consumers and all transactions up to ₹2,000. Under the new rules, small merchants earning up to ₹1 lakh per month via QR codes will pay zero MDR, a flat ₹5 fee will apply to transactions above ₹2,000 in specific categories like railways and fuel, and other high-value P2M transactions will attract a 0.4% charge capped at ₹300. The initiative also introduces a dedicated fund to upgrade digital payment infrastructure for small vendors and Tier 3 markets.
No impact on small-value UPI transactions up to ₹2,000 for all merchants, which account for more than 95% of all UPI P2M transactions.
Ganpati Bappa Morya! 🙏
Mere aur Trakin Tech ki poori family ki taraf se aapko aur aapke parivaar ko Ganesh Chaturthi ki hardik shubhkamnayein.
Bappa aapke jeevan mein sukh, samriddhi aur achhi sehat laayein. ❤️
