Following his 39-yard TD catch last week, Malachi Henry used sign language to say, "Jesus loves you."
"I'm a man of faith -- that's the most important thing in my life," he told me today. "I'm trying to steward the platform that God has given me with the celebrations that I do, and I just wanted to relay that message that Jesus loves you."
"Did you just learn to sign that, or do you know more?" I asked.
"That's about the extent of what I know so far," Malachi said with a laugh.
Henry's had a big impact on UC's 4-0 start. In addition to his TD catch, Malachi has a 36-yard punt return, has completed a pass on a fake punt, and knocked down two players with a great downfield block on Cole Tabb's game-winning TD run vs Miami.
