Premise:
Incentives drive all human behavior.
The corollary:
How to destroy a country:
A vast social security and support system that serves as a magnet for those who would rather not work.
An open immigration policy that does not screen immigrants to determine their ability and willingness to provide for themselves and their families.
An open immigration policy that does not screen for political and/or religious ideologies that are a threat to the country.
Economic incentives large enough to incentivize immigrants on the state dole to have large numbers of children, but insufficient for educated and economically productive mothers to be able to quit to raise a family.
The declining fertility of the most educated and productive women due to their delay to begin a family as a result of their desire and/or need to advance their careers, among other reasons, to live a life they deem consistent with their educational achievements and/or to repay their student debts.
Amnesty programs that give citizenship and voting power to illegal immigrants without consideration of their economic productivity or their threat to the country due to their religious or political ideologies.
The changing demographics and increased population due to the above factors.
The state responding to protests by increasing social support.
The continued failure to punish and hold accountable violent and looting rioters.
Government managed by a massive and growing unelected bureaucracy.
Government fraud, waste, and abuse contributed to ballooning budgets.
Anti-business legislation that makes it difficult for businesses to compete in a global marketplace being disrupted by AI, including restrictions on firing even poorly performing employees.
Overly burdensome, globally uncompetitive, corporate taxation.
Continuous increases in personal taxes to raise funds to provide for the rapidly growing welfare state.
The substantial majority of the tax burden levied on a small percentage of the population.
A growing percentage of the electorate paying no taxes and receiving welfare.
The introduction or threat of a wealth tax including the taxation of unrealized gains, i.e., taxes on paper wealth.
The flight of the most productive business builders and highest taxpayers to lower tax countries with lesser security concerns.
A growing percentage of the electorate voting for candidates that support increased welfare and laws favorable to, and/or that match the cultural and ideological needs and desires of a growing unproductive immigrant population.
The rapid rise in anti-semitism and inadequate efforts to address this hatred.
Increased borrowing by the state to fund the growing social burden.
Higher sovereign interest rates due to all of the above.
The resulting need to reduce expenditures to make the math work.
Increasingly violent protests that make life less livable for the productive and law abiding citizens leading to their accelerated departure.
And so on…

“Ask yourself a simple question. Why is almost every celebrity on the same side?
“Actors, singers, late-night hosts, award-show presenters. Thousands of people with different backgrounds, different lives, different temperaments. And somehow, on every major issue, they land on the exact same opinion, at the exact same moment, with the exact same hashtags. Free minds don't behave like that. An ecosystem does.
“Now ask a second question. Elon Musk is landing rockets on their own tails. He's bringing internet to villages that never had a phone line. He's building cars that drive themselves and implants that let paralyzed people move a cursor with their thoughts. Artists are supposed to be the ones who dream about the future. Here is a man actually building it. How many of them stand next to him? A handful. Why?
“Because Hollywood is not a free market of talent. It's a royal court.
“A young actor doesn't make it because he's good. Hundreds are good. He makes it because someone lets him in: an agent, a casting director, a producer, a studio, an awards committee. Every step is a gate, and every gate has a keeper. When your whole career depends on a few rooms, you learn very quickly what can be said in those rooms and what can't.
“This is how it works. First you stay silent. Then you nod. Then you repeat. Then you believe. Compromise never arrives all at once. It arrives one dinner, one role, one red carpet at a time. And once you've given up enough, you need the system to stay in place, because the system is the only thing that makes the sacrifice worth it.
“Want to see the whole mechanism in a single story? For decades, one of the most powerful producers in Hollywood was the subject of accusations from dozens of women, and much of the industry treated it as an open secret. A host even joked about it at an Oscar nominations announcement, and the room laughed. Speaking up seriously meant losing everything. When the truth finally broke, the same industry dressed in black and applauded its own courage. Silence while it pays. Virtue once it's safe. That's the system.
“And that's the real lie. Not that these people are monsters. Most aren't. The lie is calling it courage. Real courage costs you something. Saying what every room in town already applauds costs nothing. Saying the opposite is what costs. That's why so few artists stand with Elon. Not because they've studied his ideas and rejected them, but because standing there is a career risk they can't afford.
“Look at what happened to him when he left the consensus. Advertisers fled. Friends disappeared. Invitations stopped. He could afford it. Almost nobody else can. That tells you exactly how free that world really is.
“So wake up. Stop taking your political cues from people whose paycheck depends on agreeing. A celebrity endorsement is not an argument. It's a loyalty signal. Your vote, your convictions, your children's future: don't outsource them to people who are paid to recite lines someone else wrote.
“The people who build the future rarely get applause from the people who perform it.
“Think for yourself. It's the most American thing you can do.”

Every time Trump says “51st state,” half this country gets furious and stops thinking. That’s not an accident. That’s the business model.
Here’s what I actually believe: Donald Trump is doing the job his people elected him to do. Exactly what he said he’d do. He promised to use tariffs to bring manufacturing home, protect American supply chains from Chinese dumping, and put American workers first. Agree with him or not, the investment, the auto plants and the jobs are moving south because that’s where the deal is better. He says what he’s going to do, then does it. You can hate how he talks. You can’t say he isn’t delivering for the people who hired him.
The world has changed. The era of frictionless globalism that Canada built its economy on is over, and it isn’t coming back no matter who wins in November. We can keep crying foul, or we can change with it. That means working with our neighbour, our greatest ally and our biggest trading partner, not stoking faux patriotism for a bump in the polls.
So why don’t we have the same? Why don’t we have a prime minister who stands up for what Canadians need, with half the conviction Trump brings to standing up for Americans?
We haven’t had one in over a decade. While we’ve been wrapping ourselves in the flag, our capital, our industry and our best people have gone south. And the policies that drove them out haven’t been revoked. They’ve been renamed.
Our media loves this moment. Keep you angry at Washington and you’ll never look at the math: a welfare state growing faster than the economy that pays for it, a country that punishes the people who build things, and a government that answers every hard question with “dangerous and divided world.”
Elbows up is not an economic policy. Being offended is not a strategy.
I’ve spent the last two years in rooms with the people this did the most damage to. Farmers, nurses, oil workers, small-business owners. They know exactly who broke this country. It wasn’t Washington.

Stelco CEO compares Canada to CHAVEZ-ERA VENEZUELA.
He calls Carney’s conduct "bullying and harassment."
His words: "We did not expect, less than two years after acquiring the company [Stelco], to be treated like a pariah."
The Liberals are now threatening to sue and force a sale.
UNPRECEDENTED: the Liberals approved the takeover, lost the trade war, and now Carney is in a public brawl with a CEO who’s now warning the world not to invest here.

Democrats discovered billionaires in politics were a threat to democracy the exact day one stopped writing them checks.
When Michael Bloomberg spent around $1 billion of his own money in the 2020 primary, then another $100M to help Biden in Florida, nobody called it an attack on democracy.
When George Soros put $125M into a single Democratic super PAC and became the largest political donor of the 2022 cycle, it was "civic engagement."
When Reid Hoffman, Dustin Moskovitz, JB Pritzker and Tom Steyer wrote eight- and nine-figure checks cycle after cycle, it was "saving democracy." When Bill Gates reportedly gave around $50M to a pro-Harris group in 2024, silence.
In 2020, dark money groups spent over $500M backing Democrats, more than double what went to Republicans. In 2024, Kamala Harris raised more than $1 billion in under three months. Democrats outspent Republicans and lost.
So the problem was never billionaires in politics. The problem is a billionaire who doesn't fund your side.
And here's what nobody in DC wants to say out loud: old billionaire money is quiet money. It funds the foundations, NGOs, think tanks and consultants that make up the permanent establishment. It doesn't challenge the system. It is the system. It freezes the picture: same insiders, same incumbents, same experts, every single cycle.
You can like or hate Musk's spending, but at least it's out in the open. If you really want money out of politics, start with your own party's donor list.

How do Canadians seriously back Carney?
-He's 91% invested in America.
-He only owns 3 Canadian stocks out of 567 equating to 0.53%
-He's destroying our relationship with America.
-He cries sovereignty, then goes our backs and tries to set up a membership with the EU
-He helped Brookfield become the biggest tax dodger in Canadian history (5.3 Billion in unpaid taxes)
-He has more conflicts than any Canadian prime minister in history
-Tim Hodson, an American himself who used to work with Mark Carney at Goldman Sachs, refuses to release his list of stock investments
-Carney hires an American as the CEO of his government: Maia Johnson, who's a former employee for Hillary Clinton
-He brought in a failed EV mandate, which only helped sell American EVs
- He's using dictator-like tactics to scare Canadians into policy and decisions "Dangerous and divided world"
-He's already the worst prime minister in Canadian history, and that's saying a lot since we just had Trudeau.
-His lack of negotiating a deal is hollowing out our industrial sector, and all those jobs are going to where? The United States, the same place he has 91% of his investments.

The left keeps asking what Pierre has done.
He’s never been Prime Minister.
He’s never held the pen. He’s never controlled the budget. He’s never set the immigration levels or the carbon tax or the housing rules.
The Liberals have had 11 years in power.
Every major problem in this country right now — housing, healthcare waitlists, the cost of living, the streets — happened on their watch.
Asking what the opposition has done while the government is still in charge is just a way to dodge the results.
