I Don't understand why we are still a member of NATO. This treaty has cost the US far more than it has saved us. NATO is an anachronistic throwback to the cold war. Unless anyone noticed, the USSR doesn't exist anymore. If Europeans feels threatened then let them defend themselves rather than milking defense money from the US. Since the end of WWII Europeans have enjoyed an excellent (primarily US backed) defense while the money they should have spent on their own military was given to subsidize social programs and long vacations. Now that the milk cow is running dry, they cry like babies. Maybe it's time they ween themselves from the US. Although not a fan of the Federal Reserve (I believe it should be abolished), they are being lambasted in the press for what Congress & POTUS are doing. The real culprit for the crime of inflation is the government spending beyond it's means, and borrowing, to paper over the imbalance. I have to wonder if the political push towards AI isn't risky for the US. It reminds me of an aircraft carrier. I always thought that Tylenol was a favorite child of big pharma. Most pain is caused by inflammation. NSAIDS (aspirin, Naproxin, Ibuprophen) all treat inflammation. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) doesn't. The medical rational is "They thin your blood". In reality, "They Work" whereas Tylenol only has mild analgesic properties, NSAIDS fix the source of the pain, not the symptom. Sound like a familiar tactic of our broken medical system? Don't fix the problem, keep them coming back for more :).

My Medicare provider keeps sending me new Explanation of benefits letters. They are rarely improvements to the plan. I thought that what you enrolled with at the beginning of the year was the only set of benefits you got, yet they keep changing them. Hmm
