Walmart is finally adding Tap to Pay at checkout.
Starting Aug. 24, select Walmart and Sam’s Club locations will let customers pay with eligible contactless cards, Apple Pay and other digital wallets using their phones or smartwatches. The feature is expected to roll out to all U.S. Walmart and Sam’s Club locations by the end of 2026.
