We wanted to share this great pic of Ray with the brand new Mungo Jerry album "Undefinable". The album is out now on CD and all digital platforms. The title speaks directly to Dorset’s long-standing resistance to being placed in a single musical category. “I settled on the title simply because over the many years that I have been writing songs and making records, music journalists have attempted to categorise the genre of my creations ever since ‘In The Summertime’ stormed the charts. In my opinion the general public… have no interest in analysing the recordings, they simply and honestly say that they either like them, or do not like them. This is how I grew up with music…As far as I am concerned, no genre is ‘out of bounds.’” “Undefinable” is a rich and varied collection that reflects this philosophy. The album moves effortlessly across styles, from blues-infused storytelling and reflective ballads to upbeat, feel-good tracks. Songs such as “Born To Sing The Blues” showcase Dorset’s deep-rooted musical influences, while tracks like “Stand Up” and “Keep On Rockin’” carry messages of resilience and individuality. Meanwhile, lighter moments such as “Always Time For Coffee” bring warmth and humour. With “Undefinable”, Mungo Jerry proves once again that great music transcends labels. Honest, heartfelt, and unmistakably original, the album is a celebration of creative freedom and a testament to Ray Dorset’s enduring passion for making music on his own terms. Track Listing 1. Five Hundred Miles 2. Stand Up 3. I Walk Alone 4. Made With Love 5. Always Time For A Coffee 6. Born To Sing The Blues 7. We Were Born 8. That Is Why (I'm So In Love With You) 9. Road Trip 10. Keep On Rockin’
