I feel like most of you lost sight of the "Why" you're playing fighting games in the 1st place. Please remember why you started in the beginning and get back to that.

Beginner friendly tournament on Saturday, 3rd October! Think of this less as a competition and more of an opportunity to match with players in the newcomer to intermediate skill range. See you there!

The history of Rabbit, an obscure fighting game time forgot:
Rabbit (羅媚斗) is a 1997 2D fighter from tiny studio Aorn, and one of those fighting games that vanished before anyone noticed it existed.
Aorn was a short-lived Japanese studio that picked up a handful of staff who’d previously worked at SNK and Atlus. They created a colorful, goofy fighter with a strong Chinese aesthetic.
The signature mechanic is that every fighter has a “beast god” animal spirit they can summon. In single-player you steal the defeated opponent’s spirit and can call it later as a super. The idea is extremely close to JoJo’s Stands, and Capcom’s own JoJo fighter arrived a year later and works in a similar way.
There was a Saturn port released through Electronic Arts the same year.

A father in Brazil accidentally threw his daughter a North Korea-themed birthday party after misunderstanding her request for a K-pop celebration.
He decorated the party with North Korean flags, images of Kim Jong Un and matching cake toppers. 😭
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The party was organized by the girl's brother as an intentional prank, not by her father accidentally. metro.co.uk/2020/09/30/bro… boredpanda.com/brother-throws…

The Dreamcast didn’t just do arcade ports well… it often outdid the arcade originals inQoL and accessibility.
What Dreamcast arcade port did you prefer over the arcade?

A couple of weeks ago I was speaking on stream about an idea I had to start an offline weekly Tekken 8 league in London 🇬🇧 so we could all practice & get stronger together.
Back when I started at the end of Tekken 6 & through TTT2, there were multiple offline weekly events to practice & some people also kindly opened their houses to 10-15+ players to grind Tekken on other days of the week.
My idea would be to have some sort of league over a couple of weeks where you would accumulate points, finishing with a top 8 finals.
It would be free to enter and would have prizes/giveaways for people who attend! 😊
Things are already in motion so stay tuned for more updates 😉 & if you have any ideas, please feel free to let me know!
ITS TIME TO LOCK IN 🏆
