Yesterday vs. today. Yesterday, there was a 9 foot deep hole in the pepper garden so that our sewer pipe could be repaired and relined. Today, it looks like nothing ever happened. Thanks Ouverson Sewer and Water! Looking forward to next year's planting. #Igrowhotpeppers

Hand digging in the pepper garden has commenced. They have to go down 9 feet to get to the sewer pipe. It's a great crew, and they're being very careful. Going to give them each a bottle of Calculated Risk hot sauce when the job is finished! #IGrowHotPeppers

One of the biggest surprises and successes of @goldtop_girl's pepper garden this year is "Rob's Folly". I've eaten some pretty much every day for most of the summer! Thanks to @7PotClub we have a little taste of Minnesota here in Niagara! #IGrowHotPeppers 🇨🇦

Just found out that my growing season is ending even earlier than planned. Workers are arriving a week from today to repair our sewer main. They're going to have to dig some holes in the pepper garden (gulp!), so I need to clear this area before they arrive. #IGrowHotPeppers
