Conservative Canadians. I get it. I fell for Pierre, too. Our desperation made us impetuous. We made excuses for his avoidance of contentious issues and his pandering to immigrant communities. We listened to two years of feckless, scripted rhetoric regarding the carbon tax, while weaponized mass migration decimated our once peaceful and prosperous country. Some of us are still making excuses. "He has to appeal to a super liberal electorate," we say. Some of us are even attacking people who got off the Poilievre train. The tribalism is next level. Pierre didn't garner popularity relative to his charisma. He quite simply caught the wave of populist sentiment that occurred throughout the western democracies in response to the government overreach that occurred during the pandemic. The government overreach that Pierre supported. Now he has everyone whipped into a frenzy because he offered another mouthful of feckless, meaningless rhetoric. I'm betting he hasn't said that anthropogenic climate change was a grift. I bet he didn't say we are leaving the climate accords. I bet he didn't mention deporting illegals or even stopping the weaponized mass migration. He is not the fighter we need. Canada's problems are far beyond the scope of Pierre. If he cared a modicum for the people. If he truly wanted to make us free and prosperous, he wouldn't be suggesting a Canada first plan. He would suggest a Canadians first plan. He would be publicly advocating for merging with America in some regard. Pierre cares about acquiring power for himself. If you can't see it at this point, you're in denial. WAKE UP FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WAKE UP!!
