In Nov. 2023, Ansarallah requested that its regional neighbors open a land corridor from Yemen to Palestine so they could send hundreds of thousands of soldiers to go and fight to stop the genocide.
They specifically dared them to doubt their sincerity.
“Say wallah we won’t” type shit.
No one replied.
They continued their blockade of the Red Sea and fought for 2 months straight against aircraft carriers and fighter jets.
No food. No water. No port. No fuel. Nothing. Starving and poor.
They fought anyway.
And you want me to root for their defeat or destruction?
Fuck off.

During yesterday’s game, NFL star Azeez Al-Shaair paid tribute to 8-year-old Palestinian girl Wafaa Akila, who was killed alongside her father in an Israeli airstrike, by writing her name on his eye black strips in a show of solidarity with Gaza.
Al-Shaair has repeatedly honored Palestinian children killed in Gaza by writing their names on his eye black during games, continuing to raise awareness despite repeated NFL warnings and fines.

Laura propõe inverter a pergunta:

Russia's Foreign Minister Lavrov on Germany:
But I remember that before the start of the Great Patriotic War, the Germans also closed their diplomatic missions.
They want war again. And all those statements made by Merz about how he will make Germany the leading military power in Europe again are being practically implemented.
He is essentially declaring war on us. And history’s lessons haven’t been learned at all.
I think the Russian leadership will draw appropriate conclusions.

BBC and several media outlets are shamelessly lying through their teeth about the mudslide that hit the China-Nepal border.
Everyone in the comments is calling them out.
These media are craving disaster porn; they want grieving families and bodies looped on media 24/7.
They immediately politicize a natural disaster and other people's pain as a political tool to spew China-bashing narratives.
They never cared about anyone being affected by the disaster; they don't care about the damage their reporting will cause to the families of those victims.
They lost the trust of the people. Shame on them.

Ecuador under US imperial rule has become a failed state run by drug cartels.
The Ecuadorian journalist who helped expose how police are working closely with organized crime has just been murdered.
Any Ecuadorian journalist who exposes the crimes of the drug-trafficking oligarch family of the country's right-wing narco-dictator Daniel Noboa (a US citizen and close Trump ally) is killed.
Any Ecuadorian journalist who investigates the Noboa narco-regime's collaboration with the US military is killed.

In the scandal of the Open Letter, the @guardian should do an investigation - given the following facts that have now emerged.
1. Mumia Abu-Jamal did not give consent for his signature on this letter.
2. Several initial signatories, such as Robin DG Kelley, have now retracted their signatures saying that the letter that was published was not what was shown to them.
a. Why did the Guardian's editorial team not check to make sure that the signatures were accurate? They could have asked to see emails or - in the case of Mumia - letters to verify the signatures on such a consequential statement.
b. Why did the Guardian not verify with the signatories that what they were publishing was indeed what the signatories had read?
The @guardian is responsible for ensuring accuracy. It turns out that they let slip a poorly executed intelligence operation.

Ukrainians abducted by Zelensky/NATO are sent to the front lines in handcuffs to make sure they cannot escape.
- “Helping Ukraine” or “standing with Ukraine” has consistently been used as code for developing a proxy:
1) Pushing for NATO expansion for all those years (1994-2014), when only 20% of Ukrainians wanted membership and NATO knew it would provoke a war.
2) When conflict predictably breaks out after the NATO-backed coup in Kiev, sabotage all peace agreements (Minsk, Istanbul), then boycott all diplomacy and hold “peace summits” where they do not discuss peace with Russia but instead discuss breaking it into pieces. Purge Ukrainian society of political opposition and media, and torpedo the 2019 election platform that 73% of Ukrainians voted for.
3) Claim that weapons are the path to peace and escalate despite knowing Russia can retaliate with much greater force. Make sure the Western public accepts that “standing with Ukraine” entails ignoring polls showing that most Ukrainians want negotiations, and pretending that Ukraine is winning so that nobody starts talking about negotiations.
4) NATO pushes Kiev to lower the conscription age, restrict refugees from escaping to Europe, while Zelensky/NATO brutally round up Ukrainians off the streets and send them to the front lines in handcuffs.

🚨 The Bond Market Just Broke: Japan Dumps $26 Billion in Treasuries While America Is Buying Back Its Own Bonds
Today, the US Treasury admitted the long end of the bond market is broken. Nobody wanted the 10-year, 20-year, or 30-year debt. The 30-year yield just slammed into its highest level since 2007 (peaking near 5.33%).
So what did they do?
They announced they’re AT LEAST DOUBLING their liquidity buybacks of those exact long-term bonds, from a $2 billion max per operation to $4 billion+ starting September 9.
They’re literally borrowing short-term money to buy back their own long-term debt. Classic desperation move. Bond prices spiked, yields crashed 9-10 bps, and futures ripped higher the second the news dropped.
Meanwhile Japan, still the #1 foreign holder of US Treasuries is dumping them to fund currency interventions.
The BoJ and finance minister threatened of bold actions to save the yen. BoJ’s Yuto apologized for the measures being prepared.
June data just showed Japan cut holdings by another $26.4 billion (down to $1.117 trillion).
That follows the massive joint US-Japan yen-buying intervention in late July that burned tens of billions of dollars trying to stop the yen from hitting 40-year lows near 164. The yen has already given back more than half those gains and is back above 159.
When the biggest foreign buyer is selling Treasuries to defend its own currency… and the US government is forced to step in and buy its own unwanted long bonds… this isn’t “market support.” This is the system flashing red.
The famous City Of London banker @LordBelgrave had already warned about the planned debt, oil + currency financial crisis at the start of the year. It is now being executed.
Yields are the gravity of everything, your mortgage, stocks, crypto, gold. The can just got kicked harder and farther. Don’t look away.
