Thank You @DeborahJGlick for passing the Loft Laws to keep the artists in their lofts! The Real Estate Industry, and their lobbyists, tried to force us out based on a pack lies and a campaign of misinformation. We Won! #KeepTheArtsInNewYork

This is one of my favorite homes of all time. Just the style, material, size, spread. It has everything. Sun room, bay window, balcony, patio. At least 3 fireplaces. American masterpiece.

We really need to stop calling events where people burn buildings down and loot and rob people “protests.”

It is political will, and not funding streams that have run dry. Political will can and must choose to invest in public housing. Funding streams are numerous when you know where to look.

Does anyone else feel sick as they see the destruction to independent businesses in Paris? As someone who covers independent businesses and knows the 24/7 work and financial challenge, I feel so bad for these store owners.

MORE SHAME ON YOU to #NYS Assemblymember #TonySimone scurrying away from his @nycha constituents that refuse demolition and privatization of their homes. He refuses to answer the difference between the strong tenant protections of Section 9 vs the unstable subsidy of section 8. @Acpinky21Cruz and other tenants pursue and press him on the issue. @nycDSA @DavidFBrand @RonLeeReporting @Gregbsmithnyc @gregmocker @lizkimtweets @luisferre @VickuE @emmagf @errollouis @GersonBorrero @Dean_Moses @JCColtin @TweetBenMax @InTheMkts @Jill_Jorgensen @pderienzo @lincolnanderson @digifigs_1 @laylaLawGisiko @midtownsouthnyc @infopobn @fuelgrannie @archpaper @monicamoralestv @HannahFNYP @nick_garber @fuelgrannie @infopobn @kirstentheodos @71northmoore @CCLandUseNY @nycdsa_housing @myceeta @EVANGELIST_SC @OneNycha @HolmesIsaacs @ManhattanBoard4 @SaveSection9 @nycdsa_housing @FecStop13647 @jamudd @profwolff @ChrisLynnHedges @Chrislejohnyc @Chrislejohnyc @VickieforNYC @CMCHRISBANKS42 #mamdani #nycha #KeepPublicHousingPublic #NoDemolition
