EXECUTED: Iran hangs 4 men, including an 18-year-old, arrested during a January protest crackdown in Tehran. All 4 were charged with 'enmity against God' and crimes against national security. Iran Human Rights says the killings are part of a 'strategy of survival' against the regime's own people. foxnews.com/world/iran-execu…

It’s fascinating to see how three major news outlets in the U.S. published very similar takes on the same day, claiming China is the biggest beneficiary of the Iran War due to its government- directed green energy investments ( EVs, solar panels, batteries etc). Buried deep in those articles, however, are acknowledgement that China relies heavily on coal. 🙄

This isn’t just a Spanberger problem.
Over and over, people win by running as not insane and on the promise to focus on standard-of-living issues, only to go full culture warrior once elected.

Oh? Spanberger was not the competent moderate the media portrayed?
Really shocking stuff.
A case study in how not to start a tenure. As I wrote a few weeks ago on Substack, according sources, she made poor sr staff decisions and is aloof and not leading, frequently rolled by progressive interests and powerful state leaders more liberal than her. Other than that...

I want to see the movie of this rescue mission. I want it in theaters by next year.
For decades, Cuba has had a medical missions program that has sent doctors, nurses and other staff overseas. The U.S. has likened it to "forced labor."

The Trump Admin should be making this specific argument more clearly. Ignoring the regime's missile & drone program has never been a tenable course of action. Those who advocate for it are actually demanding that the US subject itself to a multi-front war against both China & Iran in the future.
Is Operation Epic Fury a strategic move?
In a recent conversation with @heatherwilly and @tomkarako, Kari Bingen argues that with Iran at its weakest point in recent history, there was no better time to launch a preventive attack.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz: "The IDF has just carried out a powerful strike on Iran's largest petrochemical facility, located in Isfahan. Both facilities, which together are responsible for approximately 85% of Iran's petrochemical exports, have now been taken out of commission and are no longer operational".
