📖 2-BOX & REVERSE BOOSTING 📖 I think people are missing the mark on this topic and I feel compelled to offer my perspective. I consider our SNIPING community the last front that hasn't been diluted... relative to what we have experienced with trickshotting over the years (Setup clips --> Fake Clips --> Scripts etc) A lot of people are missing the point completely. And I really don't agree with the people in our community trying to justify or validate lobby manipulation. It's cheating. WE ARE ALL IN AGREEMENT that the system implemented by Call of Duty is garbage. It is frustrating. I resonate with you. We are all in the same boat. However, when we start to justify lobby manipulation, the consequences of that is inflated standards. . . There is a baseline standard that I feel is healthy. Hitting clips in these frustrating lobbies is also a form of SKILL EXPRESSION. If you happen to hit an impressive clip, it's worth the praise. Unfortunately, we deal with BS to have our community needing the CIA & FBI to investigate whether a clip was hit in a normal v.s 2B/RB lobby. Fun. I understand the validity of "fun". Doing whatever makes it "fun" for you...My rebuttal to that is, many of our community members have a few CoDs they didn't enjoy throughout all these years. It's why there is personal preferences. Hot take: there are times when the grind isn't fun! The fun usually comes from our projects and having something that showcases the efforts of the grind. The GRIND does not always = instant gratification. Let's not act like every CoD that has ever been released (oldgen included) was equally beloved. Do you think that our communities best projects from Exalt, oN, Eon, Raw, etc... do you think it's always "fun" to try and grind for the best of the best? Sometimes. But not always. Lastly, I'll circle back to my earlier point. This system in place is really crappy. I have held the belief that Call of Duty is more responsible for the decline our niche community, and I don't particularly buy into the idea that our niche was just a "temporary phase". They made a string of decisions for consecutive years that contributes to our scene dying out and making the grind to create fun projects much less fun. Protect our standards. Work around the system in place until they figure it out. If they don't and our scene dies out, I'd rather see it crash and burn because of a reduction of community participants rather than see a bunch of projects that are produced on the basis of inorganic lobbies. It's fake skill. That crap should never be put on a pedestal and praised... no matter how you try to spin it or justify it under the guise of "fun" #RemoveSBMM
