Llanelli Town AFC are delighted to announce the return of Mathew Rees to the club’s coaching staff. Mathew rejoins Lee John and Dylan Blain, reuniting the coaching team that played a key role in the club’s promotion campaign in 2024. It’s great to have Mathew back amongst familiar faces as we look to build on the club’s ambitions and push forward together.

LLANELLI TOWN AFC ARE DELIGHTED TO WELCOME BACK DYLAN BLAIN! Llanelli Town AFC are pleased to announce the return of a familiar face, as Dylan Blain rejoins the Reds! Dylan first arrived at Stebonheath Park in November 2021 and went on to play an important role behind the scenes in the club’s journey, helping Llanelli Town secure promotion to the JD Cymru Premier. Having departed midway through last season’s Cymru Premier campaign, Dylan now makes his return to the club with a clear message, he has unfinished business at Stebonheath Park! Away from football, Dylan brings a wealth of experience and knowledge through his role as Head of School for Sport and Healthy Living at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. His passion, experience and commitment to the club will be a welcome addition as we continue to build for the future.

CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT | LEE JOHN RETURNS TO LLANELLI TOWN AFC Llanelli Town AFC are delighted to announce the return of Lee John to the club. Lee returns to Stebonheath Park having previously guided the Reds to promotion to the JD Cymru Premier, before departing midway through last season. Following his departure, Lee took up a position at Afan Lido, but after positive discussions with the club this week, he has made the decision to return to familiar surroundings and take on a new challenge with the Reds. During those discussions, Lee made his feelings clear, stating that he has “unfinished business” at Llanelli Town AFC. Having already enjoyed success with the club, Lee knows exactly what it means to represent Llanelli Town, the expectations that come with the role, and the passion of the supporters. His return marks the beginning of a new chapter, with everyone at the club looking forward to working together as we aim to move forward and build for the future. Lee’s first game back in charge will be on Friday, 30th October, when the Reds travel to face Pontypridd United. We encourage all our supporters to get behind Lee and the team as we begin this next chapter together.

⚽ Llanelli Town AFC at Ffwrnes Primary School Careers Day! 🔴⚪ Last week, we were delighted to visit Ffwrnes Primary School as part of their Careers Day. It was a fantastic opportunity to speak with the pupils about the many different roles involved in running a football club, showing that a career in football can mean much more than being a player on the pitch. A big thank you to the pupils and staff at Ffwrnes for the warm welcome and for inviting us to be part of a brilliant day. ⚽ My Town is Your Town is Our Town

🔴🫖Statement from the board……. We understand the frustration surrounding recent performances. Everyone connected with Llanelli Town AFC, including the board, management team, players, staff and volunteers, shares that disappointment. The club continues to receive strong financial and operational support. Considerable work is taking place behind the scenes every day, much of it carried out by dedicated volunteers who care deeply about Llanelli Town AFC. Following significant changes during the summer, the management team had to rebuild the playing squad within a short period. We have a young group with considerable potential, but we recognise that performances and results must improve quickly. Constructive criticism is part of football and supporters are entitled to express their views. We simply ask that comments remain respectful towards the individuals who give their time and effort to the club. This is a difficult period, but everyone involved is focused on responding positively, supporting the players and getting Llanelli Town AFC back on track. Thank you to those who continue to support the club.
