It is the single biggest line item other than housing for working families and it’s crippling for self-employed dads with lots of kids.
This is an interesting point. Young people make mistakes, do stupid things. But now you can make a foolish statement as a teen on social media and get fired from your job as an adult a decade later. It's no wonder that young people don't want to take risks.
This seems like an "own goal". He could just be consistent with a "Fly the Friendly Skies with fast, free Internet on every flight by late 2027" and watch Delta burn. Instead he gets into some political morass that's going to alienate half his passengers. Did his comms manager clear this?
United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby tells the New York Times that "wealth inequality has become a danger to our society" and must be addressed.
"We should have a national wealth tax... we should have inheritance taxes that get close to 100 percent at some level. I would pay them."

Worth pointing out that AB can get results in hours, just like Brazil. Unlike California that takes weeks.
France has a 35 hour work week, long paid vacations, free health care, free education. Early retirements for many. And still got burned.
Slow internet on Delta or a Wealth tax on United. “Fly the Friendly skies…”
United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby is calling for a national wealth tax and inheritance taxes approaching 100% for certain estates.
First of all, how does anyone get to be a CEO of a major corporation who thinks that government is better & more efficient than people at spending money?
Second of all, doesn’t Kirby know that small businesses, which would be the most hurt by such policies, create most of the new jobs in America?
@united should fire this imbecile and hire someone who actually understands economics.

Part of living in NH...every fall, starts to turn colder. The field mice start sneaking into homes. We have two cats, they literally start "stacking bodies". Sometimes it's the entire mouse, sometimes it's just parts like a bad horror movie.
You'd think that a mouse would smell the cats and move to the neighbor's house but they don't.

5 years ago, everyone was claiming that Starlink was an impossible pipe dream, it would never scale, it would never be profitable, dumbass Elon.
Today, everyone is claiming that they are going to build and launch and maintain their own LEO constellation like it's no big deal.

Japan's public restrooms aren't clean just because the cleaners are good.
It's because the people using them try not to make a mess.
No one's watching.
No cameras. No fines.
Just one thought:
the next person should have a nice time in here too.

This is what France needs. The autists to go ultra instinct and stand up. This photo deserves a Pulitzer. The autism shield says “Not today, villains.” He’s channeling his inner Goku. Iconic photo.
Last night I tried watching France24 (English version) to get updates on the riots and fires in France. Wanted more depth than X. I kid you not they were spending time on Afghanistan and climate change, not on the riots. PsyopAnime does a better job covering the news in 45 seconds than whatever France24 is costing.
